Radakovich informs staff he’s coming to Miami

First of all, you have to make the full transition of getting the personnel used for the triple option out of their and replacing them with the personnel needed for offense in the 21st century. They should be fully there at this point since it's been 3 years since Johnson's last year.

Focus in on recruiting to get as many quality players in the Georgia area as possible and eat into Georgia's advantage there. Have funding in place to support the program and get the right coach.

Actually, GT's situation is not all that different from Miami's. Both are schools in big cities in states known as recruiting hotbeds. They have won national titles within the past 30 years and have been slightly above average since then (7, 8, 9 win seasons) for the most part.

Where’s the funding going to come from? Where’s the lower academic standards coming from?

How is GT going to chip away at the Death Star that is UGA?

Most people don’t realize how tough the academic standard really are there. Plus UGA owns that state.

It’s crazy that people think a small nerd school with absolutely no support and insane academic standards, should be good because they won NC back when Syracuse was a better program than most of the SEC.

yeah. The 1990 season was the closest season we’ve had to the 84 BYU season.
1990 GT played almost no one. Best win was a Citrus Bowl rout of #19 Nebraska. The Wreck also tied 13-13 with UNC (unranked) and managed to hold off VT (unranked) 6-3. They did beat UGA, who finished 4-7. Highest drafted player was LB in the 7th round.

They only care about academics. Which the school is great in that regard. But athletics not so much.

Barry Jacksoff goes undercover at a Miami-area executive airport to investigate UM's hirings and firings:

"Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State."

No doubt, BJ is our very own Fletch. If he brings along Mrs Stanwych, then I am in.

Right.

Within Miami, there was a faction that wanted Miami to be a football school. And that faction basically carried out a coup and it looks like they seized power.

At GT, there’s nobody interested in becoming a football school. They are perfectly fine with winning a Dungeon and Dragons national championship before they ever win another football national championship.

Prepare for Manny to be back fellas. The disinformation campaign of puffing our chests was just that.

That’s not the argument. Has Rad said he’s retiring? No. So why are we discussing a successor plan of any kind?
What are you talking about? You're a hella annoying poster for reals

No one needs to say they're retiring. Any good business/company always has a plan in place for succession of major leaders. Rad could be here 10 years but what if he got ill, what if he had a situation or anything that meant he couldn't do the role to his abilities?

It's not about having someone lined up but you should always be thinking/planning for scenarios. If you don't, you end up with no coaching search and Manny Diaz.
