Quincy Roche crystal ball to Miami

Based on the comments, it is pretty obvious that many of you are super young or really do not understand the game of football, especially when it comes to building a strong program. You do not do it with transfers. And I am not talking about jucos. I am talking about 1 year portal players.

We are not a 1 fix, 2 fix or 3 fix. Oklahoma and Ohio State were fix teams. We need to build a solid foundation with recruited players and development. We are not competing for a **** thing with this Temple kid. Plus, the kid could come to Miami and be mediocre just like Tommy Kennedy, who many you thought was going to be a beat at left tackle.

If our dipstick head coach and his flunkies trusted their teaching and development skills, they would not waste time with the portal.
You’re general point is correct.

You’re just tying to defend it in the most idiotic way possible.

Dont want. We need to develop our own talent. The Portal is not the answer, especially at DE.

The guys we develop...leave. We got kids transferring or declaring early. The portal is our only way to have a team with ANY upper classmen worth a d@mn.

He was tied for 6th in the country in TFL, and tied for 5th in sacks.

We just went 6-7. Lmao at "don't want."

You take the proven on-field talent and don't look back. What the Fvck is wrong with some of you?

And we can go 6-7 with him. What is your point. If the guy is so talented, why is he looking at a dumpster fire program like Miami. Jalen hurts visited Miami last year. Do you know why he didn't sign with Miami? Because he had talent and Miami was a dumpster fire program. What is wrong with this Temple guy. Seriously, he wants to join a dumpster fire program? Maybe someone needs to check his brain.

Again, this guy doesn't help Miami for the future. He is a stopgap oh, if anything. We gain nothing. We are not competing for anything with the guy. And that is assuming that he is the average player.. Maybe he helps manure keep his total BS defensive ranking.

Develop? They leave because they are running from a toxic and incompetent program. You do not give good players a reason to stay. Trajan Bandy basically said that he did not care if he went undrafted. What does that tell you? The guy is running from the program.

Players get worse the longer they stay in this program. Don't be surprised if Gregory Rousseau has a down year. They all do it. Joe Johnson, Garvin, Bandy and others. What does that tell you? They were developed better in high school.

You drinking? This dude opposite of Rosseau is deadly combo. We dont have anyone like him on the roster. Harvey and William's can become good pass rushers but you dont turn down elite.

Trajan Bandy wasnt good. Way undersized and he would go undrafted next year too.

Pretty sure Oklahoma used some players from the portal and they are doing just fine over there

They definitely got the QB we should have gotten. Hurts was far and away better than anyone on the roster for the last decade. But for Hurts, I would have played for Lincoln over Enos too

obviously we all want a new OL and QB but you can never have enough good DL. I agree with some that say long term this portal thing isn't the fix. The problem is Miami has a serious issue with guys leaving early that have no reason to do so. The money issue with these kids is killing any chance Miami has of developing real depth long term.

lol yeah why the f*ck would we want another really good player opposite of greg rousseau?

Really good player? How do you know that? I could care less what he did at Temple. That does not mean that he's better than our DEs. Tommy Kennedy was supposed to be better than our tackles. He wasn't. Dee Delaney was supposed to be better than our cornerbacks. He wasn't. The UCLA defensive tackle was supposed to be better. He wasn't.

you're right, nobody wants this kid. he hasn't done anything so far. and those players weren't supposed to be better than anyone, that wasn't the point to bring them in. it was provide depth and help. with the exception of kennedy, they all did that.

So so dumb.

Maybe the 6-7 program doesn't go to to 12-1 with a few transfers, growth and new OC (although seriously that's not impossible with this crappy schedule), but maybe it goes to 10-3. That gets you better recruits and turns around the negative energy from bad fans like you, and hopefully you build something. Are you a fan or not? Fans want their team to win and be relevant. Teams change every year and can improve or fall quickly.

Osborn was our best WR this year and came from Buffalo. You ******* loser.

This Sonny guy needs to go. Roche is obviously a tremendous get: Rousseau, Roche, Patchan, Phillips, emerging Harvey, Cameron Williams......great de talent and depth.

Plus the Williams guys waiting in the wings.

Completely disregarding jaelan Phillips, he has elite ability and is ready. I want Roche for the simple fact that it means even less snaps for patchan to take up
