I want Phillips to kill it, but he was supposed to be done with football. I will be cautiously optimistic and if you look at the other thread I did include him.

wait hang on is someone actually arguing against taking a fully physically developed player to help the team? LOL especially when year after year after year we lose guys to the draft who shouldn't be going to the draft? we lose garvin, we get roche, how is this bad again?

sometimes in order to be contrarian or attempt intelligent conversation, people sound really, really fu*cking stupid. i mean holy sh*t this is next level

He was not supposed to be done with football, he wanted to get away from UCLA. Literally a day after he announced his “retirement” there were already rumors he was looking at transferring to play football elsewhere at Stanford or usc
 
Talent on the field is always needed. Don't care if it's from HS, JUCO, or another D1 school. Whether they're a freshman or GT... talent should always be welcomed. And anyone who think otherwise is an idiot. UF and Baylor probably has more portal transfer than any school and look what they're doing.

There is nothing more that would make me happy about our D then if this kid lived up to all the hype. It would completely transform our D. To have program-changing talents like GR15, JPhillips and Roche on our DL would be huge for our back 7.

That said, I need to see it first. Tired of kids coming in with hype and being busts. He will be a kid that I will have my eye on all Spring. They will give him every opportunity to take that starting role heading into the Fall. Harvey too.

Why are you carrying Phillips’ water already?
Guy hasn’t step on the field for UM and you’re already caping when his name wasn’t even mentioned, stop. Though you had learned your lesson with Jarren.

If he balls, he balls. But stop with the pet players, especially the ones that haven’t done sh*t yet.

I need to retract a lot in my previous posts..I saw in another thread that this kid could be here by Spring ball?? Is that true????? If so, that is HUGE! Wow!! I thought grad transfers were Fall entry guys???
