Random statement but LSU has been extremely quiet today. They are usually making a ton of noise and bringing in top 5 classes every year. I feel like I haven’t heard their name once today.

Clemson problems all came to head basically at same time.

1. No more Watson or Lawrence type QB
2. Bad OCs (Promoting an in house analyst to OC)
3. Venables left
4. Venable took the DL coach, Clemson‘s best recruiter
5. Dabo refusing to use the portal
6. Dabo making weird comments about NIL
7. Biggest rivals using NIL (uscJr, UGA, Bama) or portal (fsu)
8. Dabo being stubborn

Dabo did finally make some changes and brought in new blood for his coaching staff but doesn’t seem like he has embraced NIL or the Portal yet.
