There would be some rioting from the anti Perry brigade too if he was named starter.

Williams would be the most accepted choice I think.

Not really. Going into the 2018 season, 62.5% of 5 star qb recruits from the 2015, 2016, or 2017 class transferred from their original school. That was 5 out of 8, and percentage is probably higher now. Should all those QBs be mocked as not being able to beat out the dude in front of them? Kyler Murray couldnt beat out Kyle Allen to start at A&M. Then after he got his chance to start midway through the season because Allen sucked, Murray ended up getting benched again. What a loser.

I think D Rev Lee’s poll results are the best representation of how people feel about the QB race.

Despite the defense of N’Kosi by a few, KrazyCane is the only who is anti-Tate.

A majority of us voted for Jarren followed by Tate with an underwhelming minority choosing Perry.

Perry had no fan club. It just didn’t seem fair to let the masses of porsters pile on the guy simply because he doesn’t fit the profile of someone they envision themselves living through vicariously.
 
There will be at least a 20 page thread full of I was right,, the world is coming to an end and name calling when the starter is announced.

Rosier had the advantage of being an upperclassmen who was the starting QB on a team that beat all of our rivals FSU, Notre Dame, and Virgina Tech In 2017. If Tate was at Miami last year he would’ve been on the practice squad until he transferred.

So what are you going to say if Tate wins the QB battle? The guy was sitting behind one of the best QBs in America at Georgia. He was not just some bum freshman sitting behind a guy like rosier.

I didn't infer anything. I simply applied the same logic that was presented in the post I commented on to show that it was flawed.
 
Tate will become the unsung hero that provided the other more talented qb’s the competition they needed to focus and reach their potiential. I do think they will run packages for Tate either way but Enos wants the guy who can extend the field and make the deep throws... even if Tate doesn’t start I think he has improved the team
