They don't have to hit a homerun. But go back to my post about the completion percentage. What Kosi did last year at 50% is not something good QBs in college have done, regardless of whether they were a freshman or not, regardless of whether they were in an air raid system or not.
We've got one example, Allen who improved under Enos--so that's good, that breaks the tren. Complain all you want about Richt's system, I sure have, but guys like Greyson Lambert or a freshman in Aaron Murray were 60% guys in it playing in the SEC. So, yea, I think you can make some judgements on a guy who threw almost 200 times and was only completing 50% of his passes for mediocre yardage.
I hope I'm wrong and if he's the guy he's got my full support, but don't try and say we can't tell anything yet. We've seen Kosi under live fire and it wasn't acceptable and looked worse than the small body of work we've seen (well not you) from Martell.
