Dustin Crum at Kent St is another QB you guys should take a look at, he has phenemonal arm talent.
Probably the biggest arm in the draft (if he declares), probably won't be a 1st rounder but he's got a Drew Lock/Matt Stafford kind of arm & fits the mold of the new age NFL QB's that comes from small schools, but has excelled further than the powerhouse kids because they have less talent around them, are asked to do more & be the offensive catalyst for their offense & put their team on their back & due to getting more valuable reps have a more impactful transition.
It's easy to be a P5 QB at a school with access to elite level talent at OL, RB, WR etc, but being at a program that might not have a single other NFL caliber player on the roster makes it harder to put up gaudy numbers, so when these prototype guys elevate their play & standout they get fast tracked to NFL success because scouts are recognizing their raw traits & toughness as the cornerstone skills they prefer to work with.
Teams realize with these big arm QB's Mahomes, Josh Allen, Drew Lock, Jordan Love etc, that if you refine their mechanics some & give a season to maturate & develop you can have a dangerous QB that you can build your offense around predicated on utilizing the Deep ball in the more Spread style offenses that have migrated their way into the league.
