Translation: Stepping hard on opponents neck & don’t let up on the gas.I get annoyed with stat and PFF people when they don’t understand the momentum and feel of a football game
Not to be the “IF YOU PLAYED THE GAME YOU KNOW” clown but there’s a vibe when you have the other team on the ropes
To be fair teams like Notre Dame and FSU have good players and they fight off the ropes too so it’s not ALWAYS about just us
But the proof is in the numbers so far
The massive, inexcusable fail was getting the ball at the FSUs 43 after a failed onside kick and doing nothing. We have a kicker who can drill 55 yarders in his sleep. We can’t pick up 8 yards to ice the game? Are you f#cking kidding me? Even if we are in a shell, our vaunted OL can’t get us 8 yards on 3 tries? Not even asking for a first down, just get a little closer. Whoever was in charge of that sequence needs to be launched into the sun. If we just score 3 on one of the multiple starts in their territories, then even the later onside kicks are meaningless because a Hail Mary doesn’t tie the game or give them the lead.
There's still something to be said for, you know, winning the game. The scores in the first half count the same as those in the second.I get annoyed with stat and PFF people when they don’t understand the momentum and feel of a football game

If this is your takeaway from this thread then you didn’t read it or pay attentionThere's still something to be said for, you know, winning the game.
You’re right. I should’ve been more diligent and gotten my thoughts out on the third or fourth version of this same exact thread over the last 70 hours, and not waited for the 98th one. I just wanted to play off the boxing line.If this is your takeaway from this thread then you didn’t read it or pay attention

Hand up, coach, my fault.
Shoot. Again. I get it now, though - no 70s **** reference. I’ll do better next time. My fault, skipI can’t tell if your sense of humor is just trash or you’re just retarded
We have the right to complain, be back seat drivers and armchair QB’s…lolLose big > lose small > win small > win big
We’re still right before that last stage.
Maybe you should start a conspiracy theory campaign on why he’s not playingI think Brantley coulda helped out on Friday
Mario was a coward on the 4th down. dude was def scared broom would go for it on fourth if he called the timeout@LuCane was it you I saw laying into the conservative before the half approach?
To me this area is where the game was lost
Brohm was struggling but stands to reason he would figure something out at half
This section into the 3 and out after half is where I knew we were cooked
The momentum had swung back in our favor and it could have easily gotten out of hand with the interceptions
Good on Louisvilles defense for not allowing it to swing themselves
The worst thing about Becks 2nd INT wasn't even the actual Interception (as bad as it was!). Its that it'd make our already conservative coaches, even bigger lil ******* than they normally like to be... They turtled and went into a complete shell.@LuCane was it you I saw laying into the conservative before the half approach?
