The way Patrick talked about it, he acted more surprised that they were using literal bag-men than that they were caught handing out cash to recruits. It's a big open secret to everyone not willingly sticking their head in the sand. Gotta keep that $EC Cash Cow moving though.

Yep so let's review.

I said: "Texas and Tennessee would smoke us." - Statement of my opinion
You said : "Tennessee wouldn't smoke us." - Your opinion
I said: "I have zero faith that Miami could beat any P5 team." - My opinion
You said " We beat 7 or 8 last season." - Your evidence that we could beat teams in the power 5.

Notice that I never said it was an absolute fact that miami couldn't beat any P5 team. I said I PERSONALLY have zero faith that we could. Which I still don't.

Why?

I said: "We didn't beat any powerhouses."

And I'll add to that - the P5 teams that we did beat, we weren't convincing aside from Duke and FSU.

So what exactly am I changing? I haven't changed a thing. I simply stated an opinion, and gave a reason for it.

That sounds like an admission of defeat. No arrows left in the intellectual quiver.

At the end of the day, I'm entitled to my opinion, and you're entitled to yours. That's all it is.
