Being in Ohio, I don't get to contribute much to CIS outside of a few gifs and sometimes witty comments. But today, today I randomly ran into one of the former UM players who was instrumental in bringing #1 to Coral Gables.

So I'm currently vacationing at an Orlando resort (hit me up if you're in the area) and I ran into Eddie Williams, #29 on the '83 National Championship team. The man was cool as can be and still looks like he could take someone's head off coming over the middle. We started talking about that team and some of the players that helped bring home the Natty. He said they'll be celebrating the 45th year anniversary (math may be a bit off) at the 8&4 game this year.

I've met a couple of 'Canes legends and former players (Duke Johnson being one when he played for The Browns), but to meet someone who brought #1...that's some stuff I can't put a price tag on. I took a picture with him, but didn't get his permission to post it. Just thought I'd share it with my 'Cane brethren...and sisters (equal opportunity).

Very cool, and frankly random story. Did you recognize Williams or how did it come up in conversation?

I'll make you a deal though. When or if I'm in SFL again, we'll have an event. I'll pay for the gym, you and your buddy @TheOriginalCane, you can come on into it at the same time. I'll knock both of you down as many times as you want to get up. We'll call it a two for one special. I know who you both are, what you'd be bringing to the table, and it isn't **** but depends and wrinkles.

Your stupid game is ******* embarrassing for a guy who's a about to collect social security. You run your mouth acting like you're something special rather than the insecure ordinary guy you are.

As for evidence of the fluffier you are, I'm going to see if I can drop that little nugget for all to see. I know, it was your experimental phase, but it still happened and YOU know it happened. That's cool, maybe you left those days behind, I don't care either way. Still, only one of us has done some of that stuff you're so careless about throwing out there and that's you pal.

In fact, RVA has the receipt. He can share it if the originator gives the green light. Take care fluffy.

As for the rest of your nonsense, I figured you would resort to threats of aggression and violence. And don't mix up my posts with anyone else's posts.

If you're so manly, then you can act like a man. Constantly fighting with "a guy who's about to collect social security" is sad and pathetic on your part.

I don't give a **** if you're a 6'6" 350 pound former OL. I'm not scared of you. If God wants to take me out of this life, he'll do it however he sees fit and without my consent. I'm not going to cry over your invitation to a gym.

You want to **** around and threaten an old guy like me (and I'm sure you haven't read the law school case about the guy with the glass jaw), you might just find out what it's like to be a freshman football player at Northwestern. Except the real version, not the implied version.

Ok. I’m not sure what it is but I get a lot of DM’s. If I’m calling the other thing fairly, saywhat did bring CIO up first. Now CIO retaliated with threats of violence so saywhat started it and then cio countered. Now. CIO isn’t the one who started it. CIO is the first to threaten violence. I wouldn’t go after the retaliation but the retaliator did bring violence into it so if we are pointing to an instigator - it’s saywhat. If we are pointing to who started the violence, that’s CIO.
