Predictions for next year

You will know everything you need to know this year (unless we are Marshall or some insane catastrophe).

1. 10 wins BEFORE the ACCCG, and
2. Win the Coastal

If we can't do that next year, Mark isn't the guy.

You must be addicted to firing coaches.

8-4

^UNC runs over the Manny Diaz defense
^FSU wins a close one on the road (bad QB play)
^ND will cream this team (National title contender)
^Duke will sneak up on these guys.

The common theme there is that all of those teams are run-heavy/option teams. That zone scheme has been killing Diaz for nearly a decade.

If Duke beats us this year then the Richt honeymoon comes to a screeching halt really **** fast. We have a franchise QB, super talented DL, and plenty everywhere else but corner. This roster needs to mudhole Duke.

I have yet to figure out why yall think UNC will be so **** good. Last season was a fluke. I see us winning that game by 3+ TDs. The only teams we MIGHT lose to are fsu, nd, or clemson. Thats a big MIGHT except for Clemson.

What does A have to do with B? What does crack taste like?

I've never seen crack in real life, but I can tell you that Richt has already been proven to win his division and get 10 wins in the SEC. If he gets 9 wins and a a different team wins the Coastal in 2016 it is not an indichtment on Richt.

If he wins 9 games this season, he will be the first coach since Coker to not have a drop off in his first year at Miami.

I didn't ask if you have seen crack, I asked what does it taste like?

Great, so it should be easier with a team in a poorer conference and crap schedule. He has a Heisman QB and great talent to coach up.

If he gets 9 wins and a a different team wins the Coastal in 2016 it is not an indichtment on Richt.

1. What is "indichtment"?

2. This team won 8 games last year with no coaching and against a harder schedule. If Richt is ONLY able to improve 1 game with a soft schedule and a more talented team, he is not the guy. This isn't a rebuild, this is a talented squad. Richt isn't a newbie coach, he has plenty of experience.

Great point. Almost as irrelevant as your genius Dan Hawkins line. Compare Richt to a bunch of losers' and failures' lack of accomplishments.

You can have your low a/k/a no standards, that is your right. I stick to my original opinion. This team doesn't lack talent. This team has a sub-par schedule. No one is expecting National Championship. But 10 games (before the ACCCG) and a Coastal isn't such a high standard.

So again, what does crack taste like?

That statement buddy made along with several others shouldn't justify a response... the days of underachieving became prevalent because players (& horrible coaches)were never held accountable. That's basically over & done. I think we mollywop fsu & unc. ND being that it's up there is one of those games that build character but I would be surprised if we keep it close till late 4th.

The teams slated to beat us in this thread like, no question they should beat us..? They lost a lot. Florida State lost the heart of their team, and some other talented players. They reloaded nicely but I think we can get them. Who is slated to be UNC's QB this year..? How good is their O-line? Who is to say our D-line does not go in there and dominate? How good is there best receiver and best tight end? Notre Dame has the goods but they lost some really good players too. Will be fun to watch this season.

10 wins is not a pipe dream. We will be favored in 8 of the 12 games. VT will be close to a pick em.

UNC is winnable. Williams is gone. We beat them at home in '14 as badly as they beat us last year. They play UGA and FSU before they come to South Florida, so we'll know what we're up against.

Problem games:
We go to Blacksburg on 5 days rest, Thursday night under the lights, after playing UNC.
I have this effed-up feeling about GT in Atlanta. Major trap game.
ND at ND. Let's just go there swinging.

Richt has a big win up his sleeve.
Unfortunately, we have to be prepared for a clunker.

9 wins it is.

I think we win 10. No matter what happens, im not willing to claim richt "not the guy" after one year. Our talent is not where it will be in a couple years.

no way we lose to them at home

You conveniently left out the following:

1. VT is ALSO playing on 5 days rest, and

2. VT is playing on the road on 10/15 (we're playing at home).
