Predict opening game Depth Chart

Less than 2 catches per game last season.

I guess we didn't use his elite quickness all that well ...

Berrios should not see the field over Waters or Lewis.

Coley should move to the slot in 3-WR sets, and Lewis should be the 2nd slot.

I'm sure my opinion isn't popular, but I saw nothing from Berrios that suggested he's a guy we have to have on the field, at this point in his college career.

And what's most interesting to me about the Berrios hype ... He doesn't have any of the "measurables" our staff is always touting ...

He's shuttle time would've been top 5 in the NFL combine last year. Kid has elite quickness for the slot position.

Show me one play where you see berrios show elite quickness(with pads). Berrios and Owens are the most overrated players on this team. They haven't done nothing but some of yall crown them.

I'm not on the Berrios bandwagon.

I don't know enough about his shuttle time to refute the post I was responding to, but that "elite quickness for the slot position" didn't seem to do much for our very stagnant offense.

So, I agree with you on Berrios.

I actually thought he should have redshirted, and that Lewis and Coley should have been the slot receivers last year.

Owens had to play because we just don't have good LB depth. But he also would have benefitted from being able to redshirt.

We will never have the depth to redshirt kids as long as AG is here, as he continues to purge our depth at an alarming rate.

Berrios was coming off an injured ACL and should've shirted last year IMO. The kid has a lot of short area explosiveness and I would love to see him get a look on returns. If he beats our M. Lewis for the slot position then so be it.

Berrios gets **** on becasue of a huge dropped pass and because he's not a Sfl boy. The dude came back from a torn ACL in January to play 8 months later and played pretty well. His weight is down and he's quicker and faster than ever. If Coley can figure out how to get him the ball underneath and in space he's going to have a huge career here.

Exactly. In the 5 minute spring game highlight I watched Braxton had atleast 4 catches and 2 of them were for a big gain. He layed out a CB trying to knock him out of bounds too on one of the big catches.

Depth charts and all that fun talk are completely void at this point.

Tough to do when you know there will be a variety of suspensions for guys not living that Temple Pillar Lifestyle

Nobody is crowning anyone but you're quick to **** on freshmen coming off ACL surgery.

BTW I take it back, not only was his shuttle time ridiculous it's tied with the all time NFL combine record. Pads or not that's impressive.
NFL Events: Combine Top Performers

One of the athletes really stood out: Braxton Berrios of Raleigh, North Carolina. Coach Leach doesn't yet have a deep recruiting history at WSU, but in general the university hasn't gone east outside of Florida. Berrios is pretty heavily recruited on the east coast, including offers from two other Air Raid programs: Kentucky and West Virginia. He's 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds, and one look at his tape strikes up justified comparisons to Danny Amendola.

He's not overtly fast, nor big, but plays way above his size and has some insane quickness (shown by his impressive 3.81-second shuttle). Braxton is a prototypical, top tier H wide receiver. It would be interesting to see if this exposure increases his interest on a national level, and if the Cougs decide to throw their name in the hat.

Who cares about his old shuttle time I don't see it on the field. Waters ran 4.3 before but it doesn't show on the field so who cares bro.
