Predict opening game Depth Chart

Looking at the stats of both Lewis and Berrios, what jumps out to me is that we don't get much production out of either of those guys and that's on Coach Coley to figure out. Braxton started the season off fast catching 14 passes in the first four games, but after 9/20 he caught a total of 7 passes. Lewis' numbers are similar in that he caught most of his passes in the first third of the season and, like Berrios, only had on average less than two receptions per game for the second half of the season. That looks like a shift in offensive approach in terms of the number of targets (a stat I do not have) to that position (H). Looking at their numbers on paper Berrios had 2 more TDs and averaged roughly 1 yard more per reception, but their statistics don't lead to the conclusion that either is light years ahead of the other.

Less than 2 catches per game last season.

I guess we didn't use his elite quickness all that well ...

Berrios should not see the field over Waters or Lewis.

Coley should move to the slot in 3-WR sets, and Lewis should be the 2nd slot.

I'm sure my opinion isn't popular, but I saw nothing from Berrios that suggested he's a guy we have to have on the field, at this point in his college career.

And what's most interesting to me about the Berrios hype ... He doesn't have any of the "measurables" our staff is always touting ...

He's shuttle time would've been top 5 in the NFL combine last year. Kid has elite quickness for the slot position.

Team is generally deeper than last season.

QB situation is more settled

Will probably be a RB by committee

WRs are more experienced

Deeper at TE

OL is shaky

DL is deeper

LB is deeper albeit inexperienced

Plenty of experienced DBs

Team should be contending for the ACC with a competent coach

The OL is scary as a motha ******.

You guys are setting yourselves up to be extremely sad and bitter if you don't think Berrios is taking either waters or Lewis spot. Buddy took their minutes as the season went on last year. He will be our slot guy when the season starts to matter. (Neb game and on)

People are forgetting about wyche I see. Buddy looked good in the spring. I want him at NG. And Jenkins backing him. With kamulu playing the "Olsen Pierre" spot. He should be ready to beast it.

Gus has to show me before I trust him. Jenkins won't be 100 just yet. Carter needs to step up. Now or never for him.

berrios was coming of an ACL and a true freshman who was undersized. i think he will improve. Herb should get the ball more tho.

Kamalu should not start over Jenkins or Calvin. I have to see wyche actually do something.

QB situation is more settled - true

Will probably be a RB by committee - sure?

WRs are more experienced - reach

Deeper at TE - borderline maniacal

OL is shaky - understatement of the year

DL is deeper - true

LB is deeper albeit inexperienced - how?

Plenty of experienced DBs - ok I guess

Team should be contending for the ACC with a competent coach

even ur overly positive **** can barely turn that quagmire into a positive

They don't play the same position smh

Could not agree more - we should be ready for Brad to take a step back this year ... not his fault however
- shaky OL alone is a problem
- Our best WR gone with no proven replacement
- Same for TE
- Same for RB

Cant just look at one position - have to look at the entire line up
- If you were a Def Coach game planning Miami you had to be a little nervous last year - this year, not so much

You have no clue what you're talking about this is college football not the NFL. We're replacing those players that left with talented players. If your worried about anything worry about the coaches not the talent because the talent is there.
