Looking at the stats of both Lewis and Berrios, what jumps out to me is that we don't get much production out of either of those guys and that's on Coach Coley to figure out. Braxton started the season off fast catching 14 passes in the first four games, but after 9/20 he caught a total of 7 passes. Lewis' numbers are similar in that he caught most of his passes in the first third of the season and, like Berrios, only had on average less than two receptions per game for the second half of the season. That looks like a shift in offensive approach in terms of the number of targets (a stat I do not have) to that position (H). Looking at their numbers on paper Berrios had 2 more TDs and averaged roughly 1 yard more per reception, but their statistics don't lead to the conclusion that either is light years ahead of the other.

Less than 2 catches per game last season.
I guess we didn't use his elite quickness all that well ...
Berrios should not see the field over Waters or Lewis.
Coley should move to the slot in 3-WR sets, and Lewis should be the 2nd slot.
I'm sure my opinion isn't popular, but I saw nothing from Berrios that suggested he's a guy we have to have on the field, at this point in his college career.
And what's most interesting to me about the Berrios hype ... He doesn't have any of the "measurables" our staff is always touting ...
He's shuttle time would've been top 5 in the NFL combine last year. Kid has elite quickness for the slot position.
