Practice Q&A

Fire away. There are things I can't answer because we play Notre Dame week 1, and in general I can be more forthcoming on the private calls for Canes Connection members, but I will share what I can.
Can you tell us our Canes:

1. Will not suck
2. We will have have a purpose in life come Dec and Jan

I'll take your answers after I hang up.

Kicker is my biggest concern because neither guy had much success last year on the field. If Auburn kicks like he did in '23, we're in good shape. We won't know until the games start there.

We've got to figure out Auburn.

If it was an injury, he should be healed by now. It it was the yips, you'd think a change of scenery would help.

He was amazing until the last few games of 2024.

Now, he's Chuck Knoblauch.

IMO, worst acquisition of the offseason due to the importance.

The risk is just way too much for my liking.

Do we even know if he's healthy yet or what even the injury was? Swear last I've even seen about him other than talking about his potential is still from that pic of him getting a surgery on some leg injury the day after he withdrew from the portal...
Its just dumb asking about him for this season. He suffered an ACL which takes 9 months before contact and really 15 months before back to "normal".

... If it was an ACL. I literally don't think it's ever been confirmed that it was. We know he had a surgery, and on his leg. We don't know what the injury was or the severity. There are plenty of Knee surgeries that could have led to him playing already. I literally think we know nothing.

Yes, agree but if that’s the case, it will look drastically different and seems we don’t have a #1 wideout.
It will be different because the qb is different. Beck isn’t going to hold the ball like cam looking for that big play downfield. Because of that it might be a few less big plays. If the cbs are as good as we think and as good as they have been reportedly looking so far and the wrs are doing well vs them I think we will be fine at wr

He uses a star and brown fits it but likely isn’t going to play it. So it will be Scott and brantley
Man we need the best guys on the field. Don’t know why these guys don’t just play whatever lets them get on the field and make an impact. Especially Brown who is now on year 3 without a lot of film on tape

Any info on:

A.Jones
CWH
Brantley (Strictly nickle or splitting time?)
O'Connor
Wallace (nickle or safety?)
Bobby Wash

Also, any idea outside of goal line…What percentage of time 3 traditional LB will be on the field? It was pretty rare in Guidry's first year, but slightly more often last year (Although still not as often as nickle)
