There are a lot of old players, which is good. And I think we've recruited higher character guys because we have better recruiters and more money. Those are the kids everyone wants. So I feel much better about the character of the team than under Manny.

It is very obvious how they handle themselves even in the media interviews.

Thinking about OL depth and the fact that we're losing a lot after this season, does the current backup OL give you optimism for 2026? I'm thinking about names like Kinsler, Okunlola, Minaya, Plazz, Buchanan, Alofaituli, etc.

Oline is the one thing our coach is supposed to be great at, in theory there should be no concerns

Fire away. There are things I can't answer because we play Notre Dame week 1, and in general I can be more forthcoming on the private calls for Canes Connection members, but I will share what I can.

Are you worried about safety position in terms of depth, talent and how we can hold up on back end with some unproven players there? How do you think Thomas will do? I am concerned about safety more than anything i think even more than DT and LB. Lots of questions will be answered come game 1.
