49ers paid the university money to redo the fields so they could practice. This program is such a joke. How the **** are the fields not up to standard to practice on?

Just FYI, the fields were pristine a couple of years ago, but were largely torn up during construction of the IPF. So if they were re-sodded recently, they have only been in place for a few months.

Not making any excuses, but our prior practice fields (pre-IPF) had won awards. I have no idea what has been done over the past few months, or whether we ever brought the outside fields back up to the prior standard.

Fields were seeded last year at this time. They were good to go this fall. I'd suspect they got torn up and need time to recover before spring practice this year.

Chiefs are practicing at the Dolphins facility. Ive seen their fields and they dont look great either.

Embarrassing. You know one of the SB teams is practicing at your facility and you have a dump for a playing field?! WTF is Blake James, BOT and the President of the University of Miami doing?

pretty sure the seasons over guys. it’s a different maintenance schedule in and out of season. fwiw
they know better. probably overlooked

With the year-round schedule that major college football holds, there's just no excuse for this. Spring practice, recruiting camps, winter workouts...why is this happening in SoFla, with nice weather year round?

And maybe the OriginalCane is correct and it's the IPF. But if that's the case, either don't offer the use of the facilities to an NFL organization, or get it fixed in time so you can put your best foot forward on a worldwide stage.
