Any Golf courses near by that are up for Sale?

What about Yaron Field which is on campus?

Could a stadium not fit here?
Wishful thinking... not really. A stadium for football would need a lot more open area for parking and it would need highway or large roadway access. Also you see those homes/home owners in the picture... they wouldn't allow a gooney golf course to be built there, lol.

What group are you referring to that wouldn't fill a section... and what group is it that "fills" Joe Robbie that would as a result of building a stadium closer to campus "go fvck themselves?"

The 10,000 students

The 55,000 fans

The 10,000 students

The 55,000 fans
Please forgive me if I misunderstand your vagueness... but let me try to decipher your numbers. Are you saying that the 55,000 fans that attend the games at Joe Robbie Stadium live close or around the stadium, like in Broward County... and if a Hurricane stadium were to be built close(r) to the campus it would be ******* those fans in North Dade and Broward. And, it's irrelevant that the student body travel 21 miles from campus to Joe Robbie to attend a home game since they are only 10,000.

Yep.

It wouid be ******* fans from dade, Broward and PBC to put that stadium near campus. Sorry, but the students aren’t filling that stadium. Never have and never will.

Northern PBC here. I commuted to campus for 4 years. I'll grudgingly go to a game at Hard Rock, but no way will I go all the way to Gables for ****** parking just to see a game in a smaller stadium.

I've got a kickass tv with a pause button right here at home.

Dude... the JRS is not convenient for fans in Dade County... not the people who live in Coral Gables, Pinecrest, South Miami, Westchester, Kendall, Key Biscayne, Liberty City, Hialeah, Homestead, South Dade etc.
UM is a Miami university not a Broward or WPB school. No matter what anybody says it IS NOT the real home field of the University of Miami. Next time that FSU or UF wins a national championship... Steven Ross will hold a celebration for those schools, just like he did for the Gators some years ago. That my friend was the ultimate insult to a Cane.
Now if you are a Dolphin fan, then I guess you can feel real cozy there at JRS, and that may be the real reason people feel it's a great stadium.
The Orange Bowl used to fill up with fans, and it wasn't on the Dade/Broward line.

I would become an Alumni with a business degree.

Most of my donated money would go to a local youth martial arts program that teaches low/no income children for free. They would have their own dedicated building, uniforms and quality equipment.

Money for a bus to go to tournaments. **** with my license I could drive it for them, lol.

One of my mentors, a former Marine that fought at Tarawa, was a monitor for the program. He passed away four years ago, and he would have a scholarship dedicated in his name to our students of academic excellence.

I'd also give some money to the local high school wrestling team and the local JROTC marksman team.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd still work. But not as a truck driver.

The bulk of the fans are not living anywhere near campus. The students are just a fraction of the people attending a game, it makes no sense to cater to them at the expense of everybody else.

That is just stupid thinking. This is a college team not a pro team. A school should cater to the students first because they are the ones most likely to donate back to the school the future.

As opposed to the alumni spread over Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties who are currently donating back to the school?

Hard Rock is a great venue, definitely better than any stadium the university could afford to build.

.
I don't know if you are being sarcastic.
Soooooo
In other words............become JJ's pain in the *** hanger on.........save it.
He wants to GET AWAY from people like you.
That is why he fishes by himself so many times, and goes mostly with his buddies.
He knows his buddies, and you would not be one of them.....LOL.

Oh yes, JJ has done and continues to do what he wants, so I fail to see the "envy" shade of him envying you.....he has been around Billionaires all his life.
Respect the guy by giving him all the space he needs to be content...

.

Yeah, who would do such a thing? If you want to get his attention, get a bigger boat. Jeez, some people.
Exactly...........you could buy any **** boat you would like...........not only JJ would be impressed......LMAO

Nothing!!! Attend more games. My money would go towards scholarships, teacher loan forgiveness programs, wounded warriors projects, and invest $100M in rehabbing as many poor neighborhoods as possible.
jw..........once you held that check you would head to Monaco in a tux.............and hit the casinos....and have a film crew handy....LOL
