We had some guys that could really play from 2002-08.McIntosh, and McCarthy were really underated. Physically all of these guys look much different than the players we are getting now. That groups level of play remained high into the 2000s.

Those guys were all great. Mcintosh and Beason were phenomenal. Mcintosh was a starter on the 2002 team as a Freshman. That 2002 team was amazing.

I agree with everything said here. Cook was number 3 right? While he wasn't on the guys listed above level, he was ok. I think when him and the Sharpton types comes in is when you start to see a little drop off in play at that position.

I met Tebow in Orlando in 09...he told me that was the toughest Defense he saw all yr....

They ran for 472 yards against us in 2008 and 308 in 2010. We did hold them to under 100 in 2009 and 134 in 2011 so it was definitely a mixed bag.

Manny didn’t use a striker at the time. They played with three linebackers until 2018.
