it needs a complete overhaul if we're being honest. Its a complete and utter sh*tshow in its current format. It's almost impossible to work the portal without "tampering." It's one the many reasons I expect to see major reforms to the whole portal structure by later this year.
He’s the best qb in the portal by far imolol of course they didn’t make him a 5 star
Damnit put him at 8I don’t think so.
5 of these guys are ahead of him:
Ward
Walsh
Dorsey
Gino
Bernie
Vinnie
Kelly
Some smart guy on here said Darian Mensah about 2 weeks ago. I can't remember who said it, but Kudos to you sir.
No love for Erickson? Geez the guy gets overlooked by so many on this boardI don’t think so.

Yeah it’s not tampering as written becasue there are so many ways to get around the tampering rules. Just make it known publicly how much money we are willing to pay (thank you Ty Simpson) and let the agents contact you.I don’t necessarily think that’s the case. Anybody with the brain knows that Miami searching for a QB and any good quarterback can be communicating with an agent proactively and then you can see if there’s a mutual interest.
I don’t think UM cares about the NIL right at all. And it does not impact his ability to play for Miami. To you lawyers out there, why does it matter if Duke has his NIL rights? Miami just doesn’t market him, doesn’t mean he can’t play fir
Miami. Obviously Duke want market him but still needs to pay. Feel like it benefits Duke to end the contract
What does that mean in English, he playing for Miami next season?I don’t think UM cares about the NIL right at all. And it does not impact his ability to play for Miami.
Remember, nothing can be done via a contract to enforce specific performance (meaning making someone play), so what schools are doing is putting monetary penalties in the contracts. This makes sense as a form of protection.
But no amount of money can ever be an absolute bar. It is just a detriment and a bigger or lesser detriment depending on how much a school is willing to pay.
I thought of him and then forgot but yes put him in there. Beck deserves plenty of accolades. No love for Erickson? Geez the guy gets overlooked by so many on this board
He’s playing at Miami if he wants to play at Miami. What does that mean in English, he playing for Miami next season?
That is nothing to hit the button for. Try harder BIG PAUSE"take us"
AY YO HIT THE BUTTON.
He gonna have to win a Natty and be invited to NY for the Heisman for what hes finna get paid. School paid Cam n Carson combined for what this player gonna get paid.
Duke losing their 2nd best WR to VT and not a peep from folks lol. 3rd best wr graduates. Their wr1 will be back next year tho. Manny must be panicking right now lmaooo
So if we win the title, Beck is better than Cam? Sorry, I can’t get behind that. I judge quarterbacks by how they play, not how good their teammates are.Cam's impact paved the way for Carson who has now proven that great QB play is the standard. You're entitled to your opinion that Mensah has the tools to be a better QB statistically.
But Beck has taken enough hits from the fanbase and the media. I just want the kid's legacy to be what he deserves and if he wins a championship the only QB's he should be compared to are the ones who have won the ultimate prize.
