Please provide update on TVD immediately

Just please, as soon as someone knows, or has an idea. Just please. Thank you. I appreciate it. Insiders please, please, thank you
Mario will say the same thing. He will miss a significant amount of time. Never gives details of an injury.

Against the same opponents (same game), our O under Jake has scored more this yr than it did under TVD. Against MTSU, TVD contributed to 10 pts of scoring with Jake bringing us roaring back with 21 pts. We mostly ran out of time for him to complete the turnaround (and gave up some more bombs on D). The offense unquestionably sprang to life when Jake came in to relieve TVD.

Against Duke, TVD contributed to 7 pts of scoring and Jake contributed to 14 points of scoring. We were on the path to losing fairly badly under TVD. Jake turned it around quickly & gave us a lead. He did not cause the fumbles by Rooster or Keyshawn Smith which cost us the game. That was when the momentum shifted dramatically & the wheels started falling off in virtually every phase. He also didn't allow that time sapping drive to happen in the 3rd qtr. Jake was getting pummeled relentlessly by Duke due to really poor OL play. It's hardly surprising that his performance dipped with Duke's pass rushers coming unimpeded on virtually every play. Jake was the primary reason we got the momentum back and a lead in the Duke game (not TVD). Same opponent, same players, same weather, same day.

I'm not sure it really matters at this point who is better between TVD & Jake as TVD is injured.

I think Jake is a gamer who will do whatever he can to will us to victory. Jacurri can be used for certain packages but I don't think his passing game is sufficiently polished yet. He still needs time to develop as a passer. Jake's teammates seem to rally around him so let's all give him our support. If he can focus on scanning the field for the open man & making good decisions (not force things), he can be a very good QB for us. He needs much better protection though & needs more game reps to get timing down. It will also help him significantly, if he doesn't come in down by a wide margin already.
You talking like football is a one on one game lol, talkin about jake and tvd produced this much points lol well if thats the case how much points did jake produce for duke? Its tvd fault we driving and mfs dropping bubble routes and fumbling? Yall just say anything as an excuse for the players you like

I dont need details. I just want to know if he is done or day to day etc… apparently he said today he has no update but will keep everyone posted lol

If he tore the rotator, 8-10 months post-surgery. If he broke his collarbone, it would depend on how badly it is broken (6-12 weeks). Those would be the two most likely injuries. SUCKS!

Man, I hope TVD is OK. If this is the end of the season as we all anticipate, it's been a bit of a bummer of a career here for him. Not necessarily because of him, but because of the circumstances. Last year he stars and then his HC is fired and OC takes a HC gig. This year, well, no need to explain it. I'd love to see him come back next year and finish here on a high note. Even with the early season struggles, still one of the best QBs we've had here in 2 decades.

I guess he was just spreading it around to the Duke players too?
TVD has been known to do that too.

Let’s see what a week of prep and getting in synch with the starting offense and recievers will do for him.

Is it a good thing that no season ending leaks have not been made yet? As tight lipped as MC is, no way that info can stay under wraps this long.

Agreed. Arroyo news got out pretty quickly, i think the same day he got injured in practice. So maybe TVD back in time for State!

That worked out well

I didn't want to see TVD go out like that. I'd like to think that's true of everyone, but who knows.

While I don't think Garcia fixes anywhere close to all of our problems, it'll be interesting seeing him start with the score zero to zero. No excuse for what happened this past weekend, but that's a lose lose situation to come into as your hand is forced.

I actually never wanted Garcia to start over TVD, but I did want him to come in earlier vs. MTSU when TVD was clearly struggling, to see if he could provide a spark to the offense. I would have given him a series or two vs TAMU too.
