We are really banged up as spring concludes right now. So three major injuries right now: King (ACL), Don Chaney (shoulder surgery), and Mammarelli (unknown). Sounds like the rest are more mild and precautionary. The rest of the 2021 class can't get here soon enough. Get healthy guys!

Anytime I see a Miami player with a "neck injury" I worry they will be forced to retire. On the other hand, maybe we have become more physical with all these injuries!

I get that but he was listed in the "back by midsummer" category which is what like two months? If it was more concerning or needed further tests or a wait and see approach I imagine they would put him in the should be back for training camp or ready for opener category.

Don not being in the ready for camp but ready for opener category is what concerns me, that is basically two Fall camps in a row he is going to miss then he is forced to play catchup during the season similar to last year. Not saying he can't do it just sucks for the disadvantage.

Should be cleared by the opener = Not playing against Bama, IMO. If Chaney can't get any Fall camp work in, it would be foolish to run him out there against Bama. Hopefully Franklin/Brown can provide some depth reps behind Rooster/Cam as needed.
