Joe Brady wasn't Joe Brady until he was Joe Brady. And he doesn't have to be Joe Brady. The Brady point just magnified my point about the impact a little known but knowledgeable coach can make. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that a guy that played and coached in a system for years would be knowledgeable of it conceptually.

Why would a player and coach of that system not know or bring the concepts with him? Why wouldn't Lashlee welcome those concepts when his most productive offense to date was a marriage with those concepts?

My general point is that a coach like Carrier (young, with experience) has the potential to be a valued addition to someone like Lashlee.

Southland conference school in Louisiana, same conference as McNeese St, Central Arkansas, Abilene Christian, Southeastern & Stephen F Austin.

Lots of really good X's & O's coaches come from that conference.
