Nope...you proved my point. 2 years ago, not one LB from Bama was even under 250 pounds. Now they have 3 and use one bigger back as a pass rusher. Thank you for not knowing anything.

they also started S. Dion Hamiltion in 2016 - he weighed 232 pounds

Except both were 240 + the year before...and two football seasons ago was the 2015-16 season. What do you think the changes were after they almost lost to Clemson? They got faster by dropping weight. Like I said, you’re not that smart.

Reuben Foster - 2015 Football Roster - Alabama Athletics : 240 and 235

They both dropped weight to get faster...12 pounds and 8 pounds.

Go back to middle school and learn proper grammar btw. Not only do you not know **** about football but you can’t even create a functional sentence.

Also, Nate McBride and Roquan Smith were 223 and 225. You once again don’t know what the **** you’re talking about.

Those are actually light backers for Bama standards, wow. I have no problem with a weak side linebacker playing around 215-220 in a 4-3/4-2-5 in todays game. I'm not going to ask him to put on bad weight to get to the weights of those drafted in the first round. He doesnt have the height/frame to put on weight like that and be nimble on his feet. That's why you won't be a first rounder.

Some of their bigger backers got hurt during the season and didn't play in the Title Game. I hear you about having one small backer (215) and I don't really mind it. But now the other "backer/safety/hybrid" is small too, leaving only Shaq to hold up at the point when teams are going to run big motherfuggin backs like 240 pounds of Patrick or the like right at us. Maybe it works, just voicing concerns.

Here's the thing.....he is preparing for a College season not the NFL....if we know the stats on projected future LB's in the pros and their weights...so does he...i can easily see Pickney put on between 10-15 pounds just to please the scouts and GM's came next draft season....

You're right. 215 is light for OLB. Yes, there are anomalies, but 215 is well underweight for a standard LB at a power 5 title contender.

Just a few thoughts for your already obsessed mind to ponder.

What are the heights of those Alabama LBs you keep touting compared to Pinckney? Makes a difference when comparing.

You’re aware they juice like fūck at Bammer, correct?

Alabama has a philosophy with their squads that most other teams can’t follow. Big 5-stars in the 3 deep on the lines and linebackers. Juice and use, get em big and fast, discard them to the NFL where they flame out.

Other players at other schools have to approach the position slightly differently.

Stop being such a Bama nut swinger, btw
