I'll believe it when I read it.

I wasn't too happy about it initially, but I think he will get back to doing what he likes to do, calling the plays and coaching QB's, which is what he was doing initially at UGA. When he was doing that, they were 61-17. Since he gave up the playcalling, they were 84-34. I think getting a new start will energize him as well. He's a big enough name to save the class, maybe even improve it.

I think he posted that the # 4 back in the country will be decommitting and following Mark. He also expects Mark to take more.

This was the best guy out there. I think he'll be calling plays and coaching QBs. I think that's what he needs to bring the fire. Richt seemed extremely dispassionate about the CEO role he was more or less forced into at UGA. All he needs is a solid DC and a year or 2 of recruits to fill some holes on the roster and we'll be national contenders in a weaker ACC Coastal division.

Would love to see Richt take Eason too and some of the other monsters he had committed. It'll show that whole nice guy persona is a public mask and that he's got some killer in him.
 
If true, he has the name and connections to attract a top flight DC, which is great news. Plus, he'll get back to coaching QBs and calling plays, which is a huge upgrade over Coley.
 
Poor Butch man. God I feel for him. He just wanted one more shot at redemption. I hope he lands a job somewhere else & ******* kills it.
