As long as they put up 50-60 a game, who cares.LMAO!!! I am actually cracking up at this. Especially because, sadly, it is very true.
He won’t have to really have to recruit. That’s what assistants are for and him winning and scoring a **** load of points ever game will recruit itself....
I had to post that... your post just stirred up all sorts of images. LMAOLMAO!!! I am actually cracking up at this. Especially because, sadly, it is very true.

Brother... I'm grabbing my MAGA hat and going with the wife to the Cheese Cake Factory in Carol City... should be a blast.Umm...No it is not. If you think Leach is going to walk around the inner cities of Miami recruiting kids because he scores a lot of points. You are delusional. In fact go walk around Carol City with a MAGA hat on and see what happens.
There is a good reason for that, the pace is fast the D gets tired, once that happens the game is over. Of course Bama would over run them with talent, not saying it will work all the time. But it sure and **** beats that slow **** we have now, wasted Florida speed. Also, everyone always complains about his D's, I believe you can only do so much with 2 stars on D. No speed, size or talent on D cant be made up like it can be on an offense like the Pirates. You swapped Miami's talent with W States and they would be in the playoffs. I'm not sold on Kosi but he would be a great fit in that offense. Not my first choice but they wouldn't have lost a game with our schedule. JMO.Of course, does Miami's front 5 give the same level of protection as WSU's QB is getting? Their QB Apollo Gauntlet is able to make a sandwich back there.

The best recruiting tool no matter the coach is the schools W/L record and what perceived talent development a kid (inner city or otherwise) sees. Most of these kids want to play on Sundays.
I think the Trump tie in might effect one or two types of players, but I don't think it would be the ball and chain folks think it would be. I'm pretty sure politics don't come up much in conversations with kids, parents, and recruiting.
It's not like Washington is a Red type of state or location.... It definitely is more Blue there than here.
I like the pirate. I think he has done a lot with the talent he has. The only coaches that have done significantly better than him with a bunch of walkons and 2/3 stars is Dantonio and Paul Chryst.
That said, does anyone really think Leach is going to be able to walk into Carol City or other parts of Miami and recruit these kids after every recruit in the nation knows about his affiliation with Trump. It is unfortanate, but it is the truth.
Before anyone says "well he recruited 3 inner city california kids last year". It is a lot easier to recruit some low level 3 stars by saying "hey do you wan't to play on TV every Sat at Wazzou or get 1 televised Thursday games per year and a handful of games stream on ESPN+ at some MWC school like San Diego St". That is who he went up against for recruits. MWC schools. Here he will be going head to head with all of the powerhouses for talent.
