People can bash Leach all they want, but ****.

That said I would take Leach over Richt in an instant.

I think Richt would win this for a number of reasons. A lot of black people in Florida and Georgia love the Christian vibe that Richt puts off. They think of him as a good example for their kids and believe he will be less likely to do some shady **** to their kid.

A lot of people also really don't realize how much social media and stuff like that influences inner city people. These families HATE Trump and the only info they get about him comes from social media. I mean I was literally on instagram the other day and someone posted up a picture with some writing on it that said something about Trumps mother being an illegal immigrant. It was obviously complete BS, but it had thousands of likes and tons of people I knew where commenting on it like it was pure fact.

Because of this I have Richt winning this battle. And I can't stand Richt. lol.

Fun fact- Leach is actually a very devout Mormon.

I don't think black folk and Mormons historically have had good relations, but there are a **** of a lot of black players who have played for Mormon HCs.

The difference is Leach doesn't flaunt it like Richt. Richt gets every player a bible and all sorts of other stuff. That is why Richt gets the religious bump in his recruiting.

Fun Fact - Leach loves peanut butter and mayonnaise sammiches but that has nothing to do with Wazzu being ranked in the top ten and having the NUMBER ONE passing offense in the whole ******* country !

I completly agree. If he had a team full of 5 stars he would dominate. The problem is getting those 5 stars.
Guarantee you when he starts winning the big games those 5 stars will be knocking on his door.just they are doing for bama.If our university would've gotten off its cheap a$$ 18 years ago it could've been us instead

cant compare cruiting to Miami and Wazzou, i dont even know how Leach talks cats into going there to freeze their *** off most of the year. Miami, always 70-90 degrees, hot chicks in bikini's, tiki bars, multiple Natty's, i think i can outcruit Mork my damm self if i'm reppin Miami

Texas would beg to differ my Oilman, Jerry Jones hosted over a quarter million people i think at last years state playoff games, his grandson QB'd the winning 5a team, he's a gamey little fart, signed with the Hogs. That may be the single most spectacular weekend of HS ball in America, i think its 3a-6a that all play for the title over one weekend, in THAT freakin badass stadium, what a treat for the kids to play on same field as the Boys. That damm ole JJ dont miss a lick does he, money making ****, you should pull up next years list of events at Jerry world, unbelievable, yea he paid. I wonder why that's not done at our stadium, or it may be.
and where is that Oilman to refute this

Not sure about Leach now, but after we fired Coker, I thought he was the guy. I remember when Texas Tech fans came on to the Canes message boards congratulating us on getting Leach. I honestly think he would have revolutionized this program and would have brought a whole new type of swagger. He is (or was) exactly what this program needs - an arrogant and ****y head coach who is unconventional. We need a guy with an attitude. With some edge.

I've been busy preparing and cooking since yesterday and just sat down at the computer. I appreciate your takes on issues and I believe you are correct with this. The president is stigmatized with some segments of our population with the incessant and targeted barrage of brainwashing that is astonishingly effective. Seemingly for those victims he can do no right... even when he does right. Totally taboo to support him. Your Instagram reference is interesting. Also interesting is your take on the Christian effect on blacks. I'm wondering what the actual total ratio of black Canes fans that would be lured by the bible. Seeing a lot of posts here on CIS would lead me to believe Richt's bible toting is un-welcome.

Appreciate it brother! Always enjoy reading your takes as well. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving! Completely agree with the brainwashing and obviously people from poorer/less educated areas are brainwashed easier.

As far the Christianity take goes. My I noticed about the CIS comments. Is MOST posters(some of them seem to be the militant atheist types who just don't like it at all), don't like the fact that he is very strict and quick to suspend players and attribute that to him being a devout christian. Another common one is they attribute the softness in the players to the fact that Richt has them singing KumBaya before games instead of chanting Hit stick Bust **** or the like. And they attribute that to him being a non violent christian. They also seem to think that him being a christian is the reason why he doesn't like to run the score up on teams.

I think these problems have nothing to do with his religon. I think he doesn't run the score up and his players are soft due to Richt being a massive *****. He doesn't fire coaches not because he is a holy man and doesn't want to hurt someone. It is because he is an egomaniac who doesn't want to admit he was wrong with the hire and he also is a ***** who doesn't like confrontation.

Look at Dabo. Dabo is just as religious as Richt yet he his ruthless on the field and in the locker room.

Also, I follow A LOT of recruits on twitter and they are constantly posting bible quotes, thanking god, etc. in their profile. There are a handful of muslim players, but the vast majority of the southern football players are christian. Most parents associate being a good christian(like Richt) with being a good roll model and less likely to ***** their kids over. That is why I feel like Richts Christianity is an advantage in recruiting. That said when you have a season like this. Even the best recruiters will not land any kids.

I'm on record Leach will not win **** here.. Sorry you can love the shiny new toy. He hasn't won anything in his 20 years as a head coach. I want a young dude.. someone younger than leach and richt. those guys are older.

Great Thanksgiving to you brother. Yes Dabo and Richt are Christian and that's where the commonalities end. CMR can't put together a championship team... and this far in his career less likely will happen... him being Christian is irrelevant.

Oh ya for sure. I started drinking early and may not have made my point clear lol. I was trying to point out that Richt is not suspending kids and refusing to be a tough coach because he is a christian(That is what a lot of CIS posters try and state on the forum. I personally consider myself a devout christian and am far from soft). He does it because he is a massive *****.

Dabo is a Christian yet he is an elite coach. I was saying all of richts short comings are not due from being a christian at all. But he does get a bit of help in recruiting due to being a christian. I know I would feel alot better sending my kid to play for a good christian man as opposed to play for an athiest. That said. I also would want the man to be a good coach lol.

You don’t have to be on record for something that will never happen.

Trump is kicking *** and taking names!!

Certainly on offense he would be. His defenses over the course of his career have mostly been crap on a stick but this one he has now isn't half bad.

Not true, he has had some good defenses the past couple years at Washington State
