Patchan

DE's have looked bad, but no one is talking about how our DTs are getting no push, penetration, nothing... Last year Willis helped the DE's out a lot because he required so much attention. How about we talk about our weak @ss interior play.

I feel our DL is fine. We were on Franks, we were on the UNC QB and we were on CMU's QB. Defensively we're up and down... partly due to a new secondary. My only point is there is a severe void when Patchan plays. Someone/Anyone.. watch the CMU game again and watch Patchan. Last week I was arguing with clowns on this board about how bad he was... so I watched him closely against CMU.

It was laughable. The OTs were pushing Patchan all over the field and he couldn't get off his blocks... pass or run blocks. He just wasn't a factor.

In his defense, maybe both CMU OTs were all-americans and will be drafted. Based on this game film, they both look outstanding.

He played well against UF I don't care what anyone says but has been bad since. It'pretty obvious that he Rousseau and Hill should be taking his snaps at this point.

Well, my sources have just confirmed that Patchan is not starting this week. So it looks like the OP finally got his way.

Patchan not starting is likely the latest pseudo-psychological ploy from the staph to cover up for there ineptitude.

They're making an example of him for a selfish penalty.

You’re right. The decision to sit him vs Brigham Young Episcopal is probably just a psychological ploy by Manny.

CiS logic:

Defense only gives up 10 points.

Offense struggles all day, O Line can’t open holes, can’t even put up 20 on Central Michigan.

Therefore, bench Patchan.
He’s been awful. Only amari carter is rated lower than him after 4 games (pff) how does that not warrant being benched

College Football should never, ever be a meritocracy.

It should always be about who coaches like more. Thats the Miami standard (since 05)
