Pat Ivey frontrunner for S&C

Sounds like a liberal sjw/feminist trouble maker.

Expect more fruity oline pics, demand for "safe spaces" all over campus, and if he is a good as they say, man-child savages on the field.

pretty sure that frenk already sent something out saying that the school will do all of that sjw bs. my [meager] alumni donations are going from 40-60% academics-athletics split to 100% athletics now.

Pat Ivey - 2013 Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year - FootballScoop

Pat Ivey – University of Missouri

FootballScoop is proud to announce that Pat Ivey (Missouri) as the 2013 FootballScoop Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year presented by ProGrass.

Ivey has been in charge of Missouri football’s strength program since 2005, a time that not so coincidentally happens to coincide with the rise of Missouri football. Look at it this way, it isn’t an accident Gary Pinkel was 22-25 in the four seasons before Ivey took over, and 80-38 with seven seasons of eight wins or more and three conference championship appearances in the nine seasons since.

Pat Ivey

Those who know him are effusive in their praise of Ivey’s loyalty and humility – he’s always looking for ways to empower those who work under him – and his never-ending quest for improvement, both of himself and the players he coaches.

Ivey recently completed his Ph.D. while running Missouri’s strength program.

“There’s no question I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for Pat,” said former Ivey protege, 2011 FootballScoop Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year and Stanford strength coach Shannon Turley. “He’s someone I still seek counsel from when faced with difficult decisions.”

In fact, each of the last two FootballScoop Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year winners – Turley and Baylor’s Kaz Kazadi – previously worked under Ivey.

Well there you have it. Best 3 in the game and Ivey is the don, you have to throw the house at this point to get him.

Hopefully he can moderate his social agenda and double-down on his strength and conditioning agenda. His social agenda appears to have contributed to running Mizzou's program into the ditch. We must hope his allegiance to social causes is not as strong as Shalala's.

Can't we just stick, dance and talk ****e?

Let's hope Moffit doesn't suddenly retire or die because LSU will snatch Ivey.

lol, LSU is pretty annoying in that regard.

the good news is LSU will never beat Saban again as long as Miles is there, and that really RUSTLES their fans (which in turn makes me happy). Saban built his entire team from the ground up just to beat LSU.

OK, after reading up on this guy, bring him here. Don't care about my initial hesitation because of his possible rabble rousing.

I believe he supported the boycott of Mizzou over the racial issues and, from what I've read from Mizzou posters, that may have doomed him at Mizzou. Some there felt like he was a bigger loss than Kuligowski which should be highly encouraging if we get him.

Good i like him already

That program is just as likely to have Dwayne Bowe's grandma put a bullet in someone if it gets them what they want, so they've got that going for them.
