yes diaz was a good hire. look at his stats outside his 1 yr 2 games at texas. his d was always good. not yds allowed but look at pts, turnovers, redzone td pct, tfl, 3rd down pct those are what matter not yds.

Huge red flag in my book. Usually, people who are like that and do those types of things don't want to change and will always be outspoken, so it's a risk. He's supremely qualified and one of the best in the business, but i can't honestly say if i was in Richt's shoes if i make that move or not b/c i'm a big trust guy.

I have no issue with Ivey's involvment in the Missouri threatened boycott. These types of incidents don't suddenly happen. There obviously have been racial tensions brewing for a long time. HC Gary Pinkel supported his players. Maybe Barry Odom didn't. Oklahoma HC Bob Stoops publicly supported his players when racial tensions blew up in Norman.

Believe it or not, there are more important issues than a football team winning a football game.

This is a needless worry. The guy actually heading our program leans far enough right that the Georgia GOP prayed that he'd actually consider entering politics there. This is one where if Ivey is a legit S&C coach then I really don't care if he tries to organize Bernie Sanders rallies on our relatively speaking politically apathetic campus.

Let the idiots talk because that's how you gain insights into their stupidity. Institutional and social changes have been historically inspired through sports. I won't bore you with a litany of examples, social studies and texts on the subject, but know that people who take on social injustices do so because others are "afraid" and more concerned about themselves than doing what's right morally and socially.

With that said, Ivey has the qualifications, experience and the character you want training your athletes. Go Canes!
