Carter's counts continue to surge. Speaking with the doctors, his progress is ten days ahead of schedule.

His ANC (infection fighting, white blood cells) are what are watched the closest, and they usually don't start going up until day twenty, his are up high 11 days after transplant. All in all, the doctors are elated with his progress.

In an unfortunate turn of events, his hair has fallen out, but the cuteness still persists.

We've received some things in the mail for Carter, and wanted to say thank you, and be looking for something in the mail back as appreciation.

His counts are rising faster than anticipated by the medical staff. There was talk we may get discharged earlier than what we were told too.

His ANC is at 2030 today. A little recap of how they've increased.

200, 0, 200, 580, 900, 1230, 2030

The counts don't start going up until normally day 20, it's day 15 and he's surging.

His IV pole is getting lighter as they are pulling him off things one at a time. He's killing it right now.

Happy to hear he's got a fighting spirit and is making great progress. Hope your little man gets home soon.

He's almost ready for discharge, needs to get back to eating and drinking. He's about 12 days away from coming home.
