Miami has the money. There’s a long list of guys we could bring in that Ed Reed knows firsthand. IMO he should have equal say to Diaz as Chief of Staff. I know Ed hates Rex Ryan and guys like Gregg Williams are washed up. Neither of these guys would ever allow almost 800 yards against them in a game. They know how to make adjustments. There’s some proven ones out there that won’t have jobs.
They should just bring ed reed out during the game like Hannibal Lecher. He should have a lot more say with what goes on in practice and during the game. The man is a class act with more knowledge of how to win and what you need physically, athletically, and mentally Than the whole staff combined.

Ed Reed would be like...

Sarkisian has been focused on Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding, 36, for the same position at Texas. Golding has a $1.8 million buyout at Alabama and that things might be getting held up until Nick Saban can identify a suitable replacement for Golding.

Saban would be interested in hiring Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning, a graduate assistant at Alabama in 2015, to replace Golding, and that if Lanning left Georgia for Alabama, Will Muschamp would likely be the choice of Kirby Smart to be Georgia's defensive coordinator.

From the Texas site this is teh staff Sark put together as of today: a couple of moving pieces still but almost complete - he clearly intends to win. Doesn't care about ****ing off Saban , clearly.... Could be stealing three off Saban's staff..

Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach - Kyle Flood (Bama)

Tight ends coach/Special teams coordinator - Jeff Banks (bama)

Quarterbacks coach - AJ Milwee (from Bama)

Running backs coach - Stan Drayton

Receivers coach - Andre Coleman

Defensive coordinator/linebackers coach - Pete Golding (leading candidate at this moment, per our sources) (from Bama staff)

Defensive line coach - Bo Davis

Outside linebackers - Tosh Lupoi/Oscar Giles/Other

Safeties coach - Blake Gideon

Cornerbacks coach - Terry Joseph

Am I reading this right? Dan Lanning went from:

2015 - Graduate Assistant - Alabama - $45,000

2016 - ILB/RC - Memphis - $400,000

2017 - OLB Coach - GA - $325,000

2018 - OLB Coach - UGA - $325,000

2019 - DC/OLB - UGA - $750,000

2020 - DC/OLB- UGA - $1,250,000

Signed,

Does muschamp being UGA DC affect T-Rob ??
No, not this year.

Also, I’ve heard that TRob really wants to make his own way away from Muschamp, he’s been by his side his entire career including during his years as a player & that is part of the reason he hasn’t progressed more in his career.

Realistically speaking a guy like TRob should have way more clout & more opportunities to be a full time DC, but due to how he’s basically just been Muschamp’s Lieutenant for most of his career it’s actually stifled his upward mobility as a coach. I think depending on the success he has here at Miami he has a real opportunity to parlay that into being a legit DC candidate somewhere in the future.

There are guys younger than him who are already DC’s with play calling duties, a guy with his extensive experience & great track record of developing DB’s has the resume to be a play caller in the near future, constantly being Muschamp’s underling will not allow him to ever really maximize his potentiality as a coach.

So is Manny playing chess in your opinion? A good season in 21 and then Possibly promote T-Robb to DC next season and he steps back? Buys him another move in 22 if he needs it to survive.
