My recollection of him and others is that to some extent they were complicit in this massive fraud...they knew it was going to be a complete con and disaster beforehand and did little other than enable a pied piper sociopath.

Right. But thinking they were getting paid is not exculpatory. It actually just makes them complicit co-conspirators, although I’m not sure how many other people other than the main perpetrator was charged.

It was a very traumatic experience for them 😂 That whole idea of actually having to walk was just too much so many of them just sat there lost and complaining.

Hahaha! He was holding out for a handjob from the Bahamian dude that hired all those laborers for the construction jobs and then had to flee to another island when there was no money to pay them.
 
Those who were disappointed in having to walk to and from the venue will not face the same inconvenience next year as ULTRA will be a onetime event on the Key as there won’t be a next year.

It is nothing short of a miracle that the promoters obtained the necessary licensing for this year’s event. Once the Key Biscayne residence experience their homes shaking for 3 days from the noise (music) combined with the traffic and unique clientele the City of Miami will not dare allow another concert.

I am betting the next move will be to Homestead Speedway.

Well... technically not stranded if they chose to walk back. I felt this might happen and my reasoning for originally considering posting was thinking about a similar mess if we had built a stadium at Tropical Park.

Anyway, I hope they get things straightened out because I hate seeing the origin of Ultra getting trashed as many are rushing to do. Thanks to Ultra the 🙌 is thrown up worldwide and even though they don’t understand its origin, it’s still pretty awesome to see. The city has been giving them **** for years so I hope this isn’t the death blow.

Btw anyone local looking to make some extra cash might want to be an Uber for the weekend lol.
