You know what man... That's the problem these days. Everyone wanting to point out the color of a persons skin when talking about an achievement. As if it matters what color they are. Whether the person has ********s, *****, black white brown, slant eyed or blind. Who gives a ****. Break down the barriers and let em all kick the ball. The goal posts are the same width and distance no matter what color your balls are. #LetsMoveForword. #TooSmallForParanos
Pretty sure Colorado had a female K on the roster several years ago. Was her name Katie? Some dopey white chick name like that.

Meh, old news. Back in the 1990s when I lived in Oregon, one of the D3 schools there had the first female kicker in college FB. It wasn't a PR stunt, they just needed someone who could consistently kick XPs (no football scholarships at D3). If I had to rank the likelihood of a woman (biological women, not transformers) breaking into one of the big 4 professional sports, I would rank it:

1. NFL- an elite woman soccer player could potentially kick FGs (40-50 yard FGs) as good as a dude. We've already seen a couple female kickers make a debut in CFB and I think some some women soccer players have been invited to NFL tryouts.
2. NBA- maybe if she's a good enough shooter, a woman could be a 3 point specialist
3. MLB- perhaps a woman throwing a wicked knuckleball could make a roster
4. NHL- I can't see where a woman could ever make it to the NHL

(note these are all near zero chances, but I'm starting with the one I think is maybe a tiny bit more likely than the one below it)

**** vince wilfork was kicking field goals in practice anyone can do it

What happens when the next Amari Carter blasts her w a helment shot to the face or chest? Or when she takes a shot to the torso and the pressure pops out her monthly cork...causing a scene reminiscent jaws? But if they allow it, the Cecil Collins of the world should join the girls swim team etc.

I found it interesting they got the goalie. The one position that doesn't consistently kick (i know they do kick out the ball sometimes)
They consistently kick the ball the farthest though.

That said, this is embarrassing. As someone who's watched a lot of women's football (England Ladies and Man City Ladies [I used to live near the Etihad Stadium and I was bored]), a female 'soccer' player wouldn't be high on my list of potential FG kickers.
