OT: Mike Tomlin and USC

Haha. Just saw this and posted it in the other thread about former players at other programs floating nonsense dream candidates. Mannnn, really seems like Mikey T hates college football in general! Can't remember too many times I've seen him legitimately ****ed like this.

Just classic!! He murdered that question!

That was hilarious. And as a Steelers fan for life It's good to be rid of that nonsense.

Not saying this is good or bad but when head coaches retire from the Steelers (haven't fired a coach since before Noll) they do not coach anywhere else. The steelers are a model franchise in which coaches are permitted to coach with no interference from owners and a support system is in place.
And I am quite confident the team keeps the ex-coach (Cowher is the only living ex-head coach) on the team payroll as a rep.

Consider that last point again because I was blown away just writing it. The Steelers have 1 living ex-coach. 1. Not 2 or 3, but 1 (the anti-Lebron rant). Amazing stat.

Tomlin doesn't get enough credit. He has a 148-81 record (65% winning percentage) in the NFL. The only guys with a winning % that high with that many games are George Allen, George Halas, Don Shula, Paul Brown and Bill Belichick.
100%. Tomlin ain't perfect and he needs to start winning playoff games again sometime soon but it's also realllllll hard to top 14 consecutive seasons (and counting) without a losing record and one of those seasons Devlin "Duck" Hodges was essentially his starting QB.
