I’m sorry to say, but the ivory tower crowd isn’t being hurt by this. The people who need the most protecting are left in the cold. It’s a slippery slope. I truly hurt for my home town of Chicago every week. I’ll assume November fifth everyone will move on to the topic of getting rid of guns. We are on a crash course for self destruction. Capitalism and law and order are on the firing block. There was a time when common sense was common. That ship has sailed. Regardless of party affiliation, anyone who works their *** off for their family is disappointed in the political pandering in an effort to win an election. On what planet do people cheer for a virus, their own economy to fail and lawlessness to thrive. 😔

Pure and utter bull****. Please show me the people that are cheering for the virus, the economy to fail, and lawlessness to thrive.

You gotts to love the internet tuff guyz. Anyone with half a brain knows people behaving like that should be locked up. It's called law and order. Fist to cuffs are one thing. Dudes punching chicks, people kicking people in the head when they're down. Picking up brass stantions and hitting someone with it is assault all day brother.
You want to dook it out in private? That's one thing. But to do it in a place like Hard Rock just shows you that these people have no regard for anyone's safety including themselves. I guaran fn tee. That if those cats would have gotten locked up . They would most likely think twice about acting like a complete scumbag the next time they decide to mix it up in a public setting like a hotel. But you keep keeping it real on the internet.

Go Canes!!!!!

Fist to cuffs. Clearly a mental giant.

Idea of a 8 year old carrying is a bit scary but then I realize that my dad, RIP, bought me my first weapon, single shot .22, when I was 8 and my first what is now called an assault rifle at 9. If my dad was alive today he would probably have a ma duce someplace handy.

Different time and place but still, if a 8 year old needs to carry, why should he or her be left defenseless? As to your first point about voting, everyone should remember the FDR once said, "in politics there are no coincidences, if it happens somebody planned it". The why it was planned is probably the most important question.
The why question is rarely asked because few people want to know the answer. It requires too many gray cells to process. The what is easier to deal with.

Well the man sitting behind the ex President currently has the beginning stages of D. That is VERY OBVIOUS to anyone who knows the disease.

I think most drugs should be legalized. Take heroin for example, it's not really the heroin that's killing people, it's the fentanyl. **** one kid in South Florida died from heroin laced with elephant tranquilizer. Another 10 Y/O from Overtown died from getting accidentally exposed to fentanyl. Ditto with weed, how many people died off of K2...

That fentanyl took over Baltimore man. **** like the walking dead every time I go up there.

Great question. Idk the answers to all this stuff. I know we all grew up differently. And that reality for people is very different depending on where you live at.

The Hood, the trailer parks , the mansions, the middle class. We all live different realities. It’s usually very difficult for a person from one of those groups to understand or relate to the others from a different environment unless they came from that.

Put yourself in 8 year old inner city kids shoes for just a second, where danger is around every corner.

Rapist, Robbers, Killers, Pimps, Dealers, Gangs, Drugs And fiends all run rampant. You just want to simply walk to the store and buy some chips in peace.

You’re trying to live your life on the straight and narrow. Just living to 18 is a big accomplishment for you...... want to go to college.

On your walk to the store, your paranoid. Lots of drive bys in your community, so you watching every car that passes you closely. Get to the store and the robbers rob you at gunpoint for your little $20.

Now you gotta walk back to the house. It’s some dudes from a neighborhood that hates your neighborhood approach you ask where you from. They jump you 6 vs 1. Now you got knots and bruises and face a little bloody.

Your not a street guy or a tough guy. Just a kid trying to live like everyone else.

Finally get back to your block and some deranged fiend stabs you hoping that you’ve got some extra money so he can get a fix.

If you are this 8 year old kid what are you to do?

1. Your neighborhood arms dealer is around? You go try to rake leaves, Mow peoples yard, shovel snow in hopes you can make enough to buy a piece?

2. The gang in your neighborhood is recruiting you at that age. Offering protection where you don’t have to get jumped anymore, beat on, they got guns, and ways for you to earn money. And you get the “family” aspect by having 100+ other gang members who all are willing to do whatever. Do you join?

3. Do you hope and pray you make it to 18? Going to church with mom on Sundays. Trying to play sports to avoid all the ****. Practice keeps you out the neighborhood more?

4. Some other choice?

Curious what you guys on this board think or would do if you are that child?

Although I don't have any experience with being illegally armed at 8, I do have experience with being illegally armed at 16. **** I didn't know anybody that was my age at the time that didn't carry a gun. When you see your homies getting robbed, shot and/or killed, you're gonna strap up. One thing we know from growing up in the hood, is that a man with no gun, can't tell a man with a gun what to do, so you even the odds. It's like Tupac said, the same crime element that white people are scared of, is the same crime element that black people are scared of.

First off, the Hard Rock Casino is in Hollywood, on the Seminole Indian reservation. They are sovereign so there is no publicly funded police force there. They have their own private police and fire departments. Secondly, this kind of stuff isn’t new. Jesus, you think some of you pearl clutchers have never been to any crowded late night area where there’s lots of drunk people. This kind of thing happens every weekend. I’ve seen a group of drunk dudes throwing down in the middle of the street in Wynwood. 99% of the time it gets broken up or someone quits before any kind of police show up. If it’s near or inside a club, it’s usually club security breaking up the fight. **** it happens every week in the parking lot at Hard Rock stadium. A group of drunk scumbags getting into a fist fight at an Indian casino is small potatoes. It’s not like they pulled out a rifle and just started mowing down innocent bystanders
Also, because the reservation is a sovereign nation, you don’t have the same rights there as you would have anywhere else in the US. Lots of shady thing have happened on that property that got swept under the rug because the Seminole police force doesn’t have to answer to anyone.
My bad then, I was assuming the Casino was somewhere in the greater Miami area. My post was for the humor, nothing else.

Thread title corrected....
