I hear you man. Lot's of places are taking steps in the right direction regarding drug laws. I mean, I don't even do any illegal drugs anymore, not even pot but I'm just against the idea that everything that's unhealthy for you should be illegal. I think there's much better ways to deploy a police force than by arresting people for doing drugs.
I'm a medical patient, so I believe it's much, much healthier than pharmaceuticals. It's way past time to legalize medicinal, at minimum. Especially since the prohibition was enacted in racism.

Nice to see everyone social distancing. FWIW cops & security are no longer getting involved in anything. They’ll all watch everyone kill each other and avoid getting sued. Welcome to the new America. “Let then kill each other” sucks but it’s where we are now.
They're pretty useless anyways

Cannabis black market is still more appealing than the legal route. My experience in the business has shown me alot of watered down bud in the legal system.

Can't believe I'm agreeing with you.....well not all drugs, just marijuana.

I think most drugs should be legalized. Take heroin for example, it's not really the heroin that's killing people, it's the fentanyl. **** one kid in South Florida died from heroin laced with elephant tranquilizer. Another 10 Y/O from Overtown died from getting accidentally exposed to fentanyl. Ditto with weed, how many people died off of K2...

That's not going to change kids going to the black market for cheaper and stronger heroin, etc. Also....there would be an age limit, so they would have to.
The only reason people used K2, was because marijuana is still federally illegal and is absurdly a schedule 1 drug. With no protection for most workers, people on probation/parole, etc. They had to resort to a Chinese molecularly altered synthetic THC, so they wouldn't fail a drug test.

I was arrested in Arizona in 2001 for smoking pot. I was not selling it or distributing it. I was on a road trip with some friends and the night clerk at the hotel I was staying in called the cops because he smelled the joint we had smoked. The cops came and arrested all of us. Here's the really fun part! At the time Maricopa county was trying to be all "law and order" and cracking down on drug crime. They had made any possession, no matter how small, a felony. So I was booked and charged with TWO FELONIES because we smoked a joint an my buddy had a pipe in his bag. Paraphanilia, no matter how small, was also a felony. Now because I had no prior convictions, I was offered a pre-trial diversion program. In exchange for taking drug counseling courses and passing drug tests (that I had to pay out of my own pocket) and paying a rather large fine, I was able to avoid trial and have my record expunged. Thankfully, I was not some broke kid who didn't have the $2000+ to pay the fine and take the courses. Otherwise I would have had to go to trial for two felony counts.

Maybe in some places, cops don't arrest you for marijuana but I can assure you that is not the case everywhere. Drug offenders are big profit for police departments and the prison system. They're often much easier and safer to arrest than violent criminals.
In the 90's the motto in Arizona truly was: "Arrive on vacation, leave on probation." There were billboards that read: "Smoke a joint, go to jail." You got free pink underware, tho . . .

Big gov't and it's involvement will always be circumvented by people looking for a better way. Drones don't understand the concept.

That's why Biden's "decriminalization" and rescheduling plan is a nightmare. If it drops to schedule II like he proposes, it would go to pharmaceutical companies, working for profit and be regulated by the DEA, there would be no more variety and THC would likely be capped. It would all be vertically integrated and cultivated for profit.

I can't count the times they've moved the goal posts in California when it comes to the growers and suppliers. Whether requirements or taxes. Let's say sometimes circumventing the legal aspects helps pay for that vacation. If you know what I mean. I can't speak for dispensaries and consumers. That i don't have knowledge of.

I never made it out to the tents. I was in the drunk tank for two days before I got bailed out. Every other person who had the same charges as me got ROR but the judge told me and my friends that we were "flight risks" because we were from Florida so I had to get bailed out. Who TF is going to run from some first offender weed charges?

Lololol DTP!

Help! Help! They are being loud over there officer! Fisticuffs might be involved! Haaaaaalp!
You gotts to love the internet tuff guyz. Anyone with half a brain knows people behaving like that should be locked up. It's called law and order. Fist to cuffs are one thing. Dudes punching chicks, people kicking people in the head when they're down. Picking up brass stantions and hitting someone with it is assault all day brother.
You want to dook it out in private? That's one thing. But to do it in a place like Hard Rock just shows you that these people have no regard for anyone's safety including themselves. I guaran fn tee. That if those cats would have gotten locked up . They would most likely think twice about acting like a complete scumbag the next time they decide to mix it up in a public setting like a hotel. But you keep keeping it real on the internet.

Go Canes!!!!!
