I was arrested in Arizona in 2001 for smoking pot. I was not selling it or distributing it. I was on a road trip with some friends and the night clerk at the hotel I was staying in called the cops because he smelled the joint we had smoked. The cops came and arrested all of us. Here's the really fun part! At the time Maricopa county was trying to be all "law and order" and cracking down on drug crime. They had made any possession, no matter how small, a felony. So I was booked and charged with TWO FELONIES because we smoked a joint an my buddy had a pipe in his bag. Paraphanilia, no matter how small, was also a felony. Now because I had no prior convictions, I was offered a pre-trial diversion program. In exchange for taking drug counseling courses and passing drug tests (that I had to pay out of my own pocket) and paying a rather large fine, I was able to avoid trial and have my record expunged. Thankfully, I was not some broke kid who didn't have the $2000+ to pay the fine and take the courses. Otherwise I would have had to go to trial for two felony counts.

Maybe in some places, cops don't arrest you for marijuana but I can assure you that is not the case everywhere. Drug offenders are big profit for police departments and the prison system. They're often much easier and safer to arrest than violent criminals.
I was arrested for a joint and a second time for 2 Nick sacks, so I understand your frustrations. However, things are much, much different now with marijuana. 33 states have passed medical and 11 states, including D.C. have passed recreational. Even the states that haven't passed any, are almost all passing decriminalization laws or outright telling officers not to arrest for possession. Arizona has medical and will be voting on recreational in November.

Lol, that wasn't a fight, there was no blood, no one got knocked out, ****, no one even lost their weave. That was just the youth roll playing out their emotions verses talking about about them over a Starbucks latte.
The guy no shirt was able to get up and walk down the lobby. Lmao. After he got hit with a clear sucker punch? That guy should've been put to sleep... Then again the guy in the bball jersey couldn't knock a chick out with 3 uppercuts. Explains some of the young bucks on here

I bet he thinks that heat map represents rural sparsely populated white 'magaloids' counties sucking up all those federal dollars disproportionately to urban democratically run population centers.

Just a soft individual wrapped up in it's internet world. Couldn't be anyone more irrelevant...

Internet memes as a way of proving something. Says it all...
If people posted peer reviewed articles to make their point, one could have an intelligent conversation. But I'm sure 90% of the people on here don't know what a reviewed article is.

I hear you man. Lot's of places are taking steps in the right direction regarding drug laws. I mean, I don't even do any illegal drugs anymore, not even pot but I'm just against the idea that everything that's unhealthy for you should be illegal. I think there's much better ways to deploy a police force than by arresting people for doing drugs.

First off, the Hard Rock Casino is in Hollywood, on the Seminole Indian reservation. They are sovereign so there is no publicly funded police force there. They have their own private police and fire departments. Secondly, this kind of stuff isn’t new. Jesus, you think some of you pearl clutchers have never been to any crowded late night area where there’s lots of drunk people. This kind of thing happens every weekend. I’ve seen a group of drunk dudes throwing down in the middle of the street in Wynwood. 99% of the time it gets broken up or someone quits before any kind of police show up. If it’s near or inside a club, it’s usually club security breaking up the fight. **** it happens every week in the parking lot at Hard Rock stadium. A group of drunk scumbags getting into a fist fight at an Indian casino is small potatoes. It’s not like they pulled out a rifle and just started mowing down innocent bystanders
Also, because the reservation is a sovereign nation, you don’t have the same rights there as you would have anywhere else in the US. Lots of shady thing have happened on that property that got swept under the rug because the Seminole police force doesn’t have to answer to anyone.

Sooooooooooo basically this is Florida St off campus, no?

Then why do you keep responding? And again, hold the onions, you screwed my burger up last time, can you handle that?
Hold the onions LMAO. You're getting straight sausage. I already told you pM me. So i can give it to you.
