The article is about being 21 to buy handgun, but 18 to buy any rifle. SO what is your point?Bolt action rifle in the picture of an AR-15 article. Classic...

So direct donations to candidates is the only factor in this? are you really this stupid?

Secondly It clearly doesn't take much actual cash to by POS members of congress off

You're right. An AR-15 is not an automatic weapon.
It is, however, an assault rifle designed to deliver fatal wounds to multiple individuals within a short time period; it has no other purpose. The AR-15, the civilian version of the military assault rifle (M16 or M4), has become the most commonly used rifle in US mass shootings. We can get into a discussion of semantics or the underlying root problem.
I literally linked who is also getting direct contributions. No I am not "this stupid." In fact if you actually took more than 5 seconds to read what I wrote, I specifically addressed their independent spending. YOU were the one who specifically claimed candidates are "literally being bought by the NRA", despite that having no real basis in reality. I don't know what they are teaching you at UM, but when I hear someone claim candidates are literally being bought, one would think looking at direct donations to candidates would be a wise metric to look out.
Most of the candidates you listed are getting a couple grand in contributions per year on average. Certainly not pocket change, but hardly earth shattering amounts and hardly the only independent organization, regardless of political affiliation, that is contributing heavily to candidates. Calling me stupid doesn't change that, you angry little guy.
I live in Vermont, I believe we have the highest or one of the highest guns per person rate. However, we have one of the lowest rates of gun violence. It points me to this. I think we need a better tracking system for guns in this country. Every gun, like cars or dogs, should be registered annually. If you do not register it they come asking for either a bill of sale, or they fine you. (Or something along those lines.) To me the biggest issue is not the people buying the guns its where they go after that. There is no way of knowing and that has to change.
I also think that like cars you should have to pass Hunter Safety course in order to buy or register a Gun. Again, just prove that you know how to use it, care for it and that you have at least some what been taught how to shoot it. I feel like these would be a couple of beginning measures we could take to at least begin the process of what a safer America could or would look like.
Fact is, if there is someone at your door with a gun and bad intentions there just isn't much you can do about it. But we have to act at some point and we have to be very direct with what we need done and not just knee jerk because of one instance.

I'm not saying 25k is a lot of money. But it clearly is enough to buy your own congressman/woman and having them vote in support of the NRA for everything, isn't it.
And what does other organizations paying off these people to vote for them have do to with anything? I'm not saying its okay that thats happening. I'm saying the NRA literally owns many congressmen/womens votes on the matter and they literally are the reason there has been no progress. That is a fact. You tried to argue it. I gave you 2 articles showing you were being a dumbass. Now your argument is essentially "well 20k is pocket change, and other groups donate too". lol classic.

And yet hammers and ladders will kill more Americans this year than rifles, and handguns will kill 100x times more Americans than rifles.
To everyone who wants to ban guns, are you truly ok living in a society where the government has a monopoly on all weapons........slow down and think that through.
Well he's wearing a MAGA hat on his instagram so I'll agree he hates America, but he ain't no Democrat or member of Antifa.
Gun violence is a necessary evil of the 2A. Death is part of life, but when it comes so grotesquely - or its our children screaming in a school as they're gunned down it hits our emotions, and our rational faculties.
Doctors kill thousands of times more people than AR15's, but we weigh the good and bad and decide medical care is worth the carnage. Our founders decided the 2A was worth it. Hence the reason they enshrined it into the Bill of Rights.
What you saw yesterday was not a necessary evil. That's ridiculous. But I believe there are ways to prevent what we saw yesterday without resorting to cries of "ban guns."
Tell that to the insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan who were quite a handful for mightiest military in the world. You'd be surprised what an armed and desperate group can accomplish.Yeah that is what stopping the government from taking over. They are scared to death that their tanks, training, equipment etc are not strong enough to stop some dumb hick,
I’ve never said any of that.Ignore Zrod just some dumb **** that claims to have gotten accepted into Harvard but declined to pursue a career in scouting FB players on CFB websites.
this is actually pretty damm accurate, but know one wants to hear it. I saw a deal the FBI put out that showed that more people are killed with knifes than AR's in America, so why the **** even have this argument ??
