OT-Let’s Debate

I have Griffey at the top of this specific list....

Here is a suggestion to make it a closer debate next time:

Take Michael Vick out....Put in Dan Marino or Barry Sanders....

I take Marino in that grouping all day every day. QB is simply too important and influential a position and he's a top 5 all-timer in that spot, imo.

I probably then tie Moss with Barry because they were transcendent talents at their positions and could have more individual influences over the outcome of a game than a single baseball player like Griffey. Not that Griffey wasn't something special and a childhood cultural icon for most guys over the age of like 30-35.

I dont recall saying anything about Barry Bonds. I said Griffey would be the HR king and CLEAN. That simply means Griffey would have hit more homeruns than the current record. I didnt say Griffey was better than Bonds. I didnt discount anything Bonds did in Pitt. I didnt even say Griffey was the GOAT. Proving Bonds is better than Griffey is cool- BUT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS DEBATE. By your logic MJ was better than Iverson. Throw him off the list now.

Dont chastise me like I have no idea about the differences between Bonds and Griffey. Im a fan of the game.
Relax bro ****, my point in bringing up Bonds over Griffey is that he never won a title either.

I wasn't arguing with you or trying to come at you negatively, I thought it was just a fun debate my bad lol.

I respect you as a top poster, but reading your reply it came in pretty hot like I had no idea about Bonds.

Vick threw for 56% for his career.
He only started every game of the season 4 times.
Only 4-12 tyears had a winning season.
133 TD to 88 INT

Obviously he had a major impact on the game with his legs but his career was very average when it comes to the passing department and win column.

Madden 2004 Vick was probably the greatest video game athlete ever created though. Right next to Tecmo bowl Barry Sanders and anyone with the juke button in Gameday 99.

Why leave Barry Sanders off that list? Can you imagine if Sanders played with a team with an offensive line? Griffey by far on that list!
