NBA OT KNICKS vs Heat

My Heat have drafted in he top 10 in the last 20 years....one time (Michael Beasley) Picked Justice Winslow at 10 one year too.. Please dont compare us to sh*t franchises like Detroit, Orlando, and even cleveland.

You do realize the heat were in the finals in 2023 right?.

The Heat record was that because the star player on the team played under 30 games. and tanked the szn. Adding injuries throughout the year. It wasnt the best roster but the team likely was above what they showed if they didnt deal with the Butler fiasco.

The kniocks are a piece or two away without anyways of getting the piece or two. They are up against the 2nd apron...have no 1st round picks this year..one maybe next year. They have that core players locked up on big contracts which showed they were good this year. But like i said Bridges is coming up maybe he stays because he is a northeast guy and they are loaded withj nova guys but i dont see much pieces coming there...they will have the pj tucker types to fill out that roster moving forward.
Cleveland is a sh*t franchise that literally swept yall including beating yall by 55 POINTS in an elimination game.

Yes I'm aware yall made the Finals in 2023... How'd that go? Did yall win?

Yall made it to the Finals because of Jimmy Butler. Who's the Star player yall have now that is leading yall to the Finals?

The Heat are supposedly so much ahead of everyone else according to you, but for some odd reason, can't get any Superstar players to come to Miami & have been getting their asses handed in back to back 1st round playoff series against Boston & Cleveland.

Miami's future is so much more brighter than everybody else's, but for whatever reason they haven't actually won anything without having a Superteam on the court.

Tell you what...

$200 Cashapp bet with any Heat fan, that yall won't make it out the 1st round of the playoffs next year?

I'm not a Knicks fan btw, I'm just not about sit to here & act like the Heat are in much better situation than 6 or 7 other teams in the East.

As it stands, the Heat are a fringe play-in team & I don't see very many scenarios where that changes unless Pat Riley & Spoe change a lot in their philosophy & approach.

Superstars have masked the flaws of "Heat Culture" over the years & without one, the Heat are just like every other middling franchise in the league.

Cleveland is a sh*t franchise my man i could care less what happened this year. Like stated THIS WAS THE WORST HEAT TEAM YOU WOULD SEE AND THEY STILL MADE THE PLAYOFFS.

- We went the Knicks n the other sh8t franchise ive named HAVENT WENT TO THE FINALS. **** the Knicks aint went in 25 years. Who got Jimmy Butler? the same franchise. He didnt gotten there with any other team before coming here, and he came here because we are an organization that can win chips.
-Lost to the team that wont he chip, beat them the year before. (Boston)

-Its not some odd reason we didnt get a super star...quite frankly not every "super star" is a fit with the Heat and 2. there is a thing called a salary cap. Like stated Portland BLOCKED a star in Damian Lillard who asked to come to the Heat. Whoa re the "super stars" we were supposed to get. The only guys i can remember us really having interest was KD.

Miami future will forever be brighter than most because we are a top 5 overall organization in the league those are just facts. Truly aint even an argument around it. In 2026 the heat possibly could have 30mil in cap space to work with and the first round pick.

This is my argument exactly. This is great news. They are capped with him as coach. They made a change. Unlike the Heat, who rest on their laurels.

Just as the Heat are capped with Spo as coach without LeBron.

Ay I'm a Warrior fan from Bay. So you ain't got **** on me regardless lol

The Heat were a middling team because our "super star" tanked 2 years in a row on his own. Got called out on it after the first year of bsing...n then threw the year in 2024-2025 causing him to get shipped out. Something he does everywhere he goes.

I agree some what with the bolded. But that's something us heat fans know aint changing.

Super stars mask flaws on every team so that really isnt something just for the Heat. Thats like saying the 2001 canes only won because they had good players....i mean what? lol I mean the super stars like Lebron HAD to come to the Heat to win.

Our basketball czar has won in many different ways im not jumping out the window saying a team ran by jim dolan has a brighter future....**** the next day they fired the best coach that gave em a post szn run. That sh*t could be dead in the water after this szn like ive stated.

Watch out for the heat with Trey Murphy. Depending on the off szn move ill take the bet.
Ware was a really good draft pick. His upside is gonna keep going up.

If I’m the Heat, I’m trying to get Durant for a package built around Kel’el Ware. The Suns have a huge need at center and reports are they want a good young big. Ware will be one of the best in the market at his price/age range.

Durant’s game will age well because of his height, IQ and skill. Herro slides into the #2 spot and Bam is in his optimal role as a more talented Draymond Green. That’s a core that makes sense.

LeBron needs to take his talents back to South Beach to form another super team...

Duncan Robinson, Ware, Wiggins, 1st rd Draft Pick, Jaquez.......lets ride lol

If they want Herro...i keep one Jaquez i guess or Jovic. Id be willing to part with Herro for Kd for sure.

We clearly were trying to get KD for Jimmy B but they were tryna come off Beal and he was blocking it.

James Jones is still with the suns he maybe willing to do hometeam a solid.

Durant being the catalyst for a winning team is over.

He's not committed to excellence & he truly does not give AF about trying to bolster his legacy.

I'm telling you & the other Heat fans now,
BUYER BEWARE if you get KD. It will end in a dumpster fire.

I bet the house on that. KD is finished as an Elite Championship player.

So, you’re saying the Miami Heat should fire Erik Spoelstra?

Knicks fire Tom Thibodeau!!!!

It sounds crazy but NY should have kept Divincenzo and Hartenstein over the effeminate Towns and Bridges. They basically had two women replace a couple guys who were perfect fits last season.
Should have kept hartenstein and got rid of josh hart instead of donte. Don’t understand why they keep a 6’4 power forward who can’t shoot on their team

The heat were bad last year because the roster is trash not because of jimmy

We were in the play in b2b years with him here and they let multiple playoff starters leave and made zero significant upgrades, made a horrible trade with rozier who is one of the worst players/contracts in the league now..So if the team was an 8th seed with jimmy without him you get a 37 win 10th seed(25 game win pace without jimmy btw). If they don’t make good moves this will continue

Blame the front office plus spo not jimmy for where we are now. They don’t know how to operate in this modern era where free agency isn’t the main way to acquire stars

Knicks shouldn’t be compared to us historically but as of right now they are better in every way besides coaching

It’s not a “Heat vs. the Rest of the League” argument. No sane Heat fan should make that argument and the outlook for next year is grim. However, for Pete to adamantly argue that the Knicks are a better organization over the past 20 years is pure lunacy by any objective measure. He does it for clicks, *****, and giggles. I never took him seriously until his childish outburst earlier this week.

The Knicks have been absolute basura for over 2 decades. When you compare the Heat’s run during that period…well…it’s no comparison.

Oh yes , the “ just add Kevin Durant “ argument. That should make worlds of difference. I love how every team, expert and fan base thinks this guy is the piece to get them over the hump lol. How about landing Harden while we’re at it.

I actually cut off the pod about 3 minutes into that. Laughable to argue the Knicks over the Heat to that extent. He had a point, Miami should have tanked after getting Jimmy out of town, would have had a lottery pick and who knows (pick 11 odds turned to #1 overall).

So Knicks got it this year and last. Other than that cut me a break. The heat and Jimmy butler over performed every season and went on legendary runs

That was my whole argument in my first comment.

The Heat historically are a better franchise than the Knicks.

But acting like the Heat have a better future than the Knicks, or at least 6-7 other teams in the East is absolutely crazy & not based on anything tangible.
