NBA OT KNICKS vs Heat

Take out the big three era and the heat still have more finals appearances in recent history.

It was huge for the Heat to make the playoffs this year. Finally got that OKC obligated pick off our back. Next year we have our pick in a very top heavy draft. We need to TANK. Sell Bam and Herro. Try to get off the Wiggins contract. Don’t throw stupid money at Davion Mitchell, he isn’t good. The Heat love propping up guys with great coaching and playing hard as **** but they need to get ahead on talent. There’s no way forward with this nucleus that doesn’t involve dramatically leveraging their future to marginally improve their present.

The one exception is Giannis but I just don’t see how we’d win the auction for him compared to what other teams can offer. This is all part of why we haven’t been able to add stats that come available. We’ve been paycheck to paycheck on draft assets since Lebron got here. We need a 2 year reset. We’ve done decent on the bargain rack but the whole thing requires a fundamental overhaul. Only stupid homers don’t see that.

i agree alot on this but if its any organization that can get the motivation out of it it sours. say he was to come i would think he would get on the right track.

but his temperment is "different"...to be onest kd is a "stoner" that just wants to play ball he already got his ring.lol

We were in the play in b2b years with him here and they let multiple playoff starters leave and made zero significant upgrades, made a horrible trade with rozier who is one of the worst players/contracts in the league now..So if the team was an 8th seed with jimmy without him you get a 37 win 10th seed(25 game win pace without jimmy btw). If they don’t make good moves this will continue

Blame the front office plus spo not jimmy for where we are now. They don’t know how to operate in this modern era where free agency isn’t the main way to acquire stars

Knicks are a terribly ran organization lets start there.
There owner is a dumb *** so it starts at the top. They arent better at development either
COACHING is important and they dont have a coach lol

Ok now back to my Heat.

We were in the play in BECAUSE Jimmy Butler gives two sh*ts about the regular szn. He bses it. Pat riley called him AND Tyler Herro out on it...which initially got his pu$$y hurt and in his feelings in the first place because he bs'd and caused us to be in the play in the year before. He was her eto be the driven force and he didnt want to play more than 60 games or play hard in them. Tyler Herro took it an improve and Jimmy well...he Jimmy'd

So im blaming jimmy butler the star on the team AND the org sharing somewhat the blame. But the player is on the court so im more so blaming him.

2.). You mentioned Terry Rozier right?. Do you even know why we have terry rozier or why the trade was made?. Well my friend that leads back to JIMMY BUTLER. Jimmy Butler asked for his boy Kyle Lowry to be brought in. Now im a Um football fan but also a UM BBall slash Villanova Basketball fan more Nova than ums team......KYLE Lowry is NOT a Miami Heat type player that they go for. This was strictly to appease Jimmy. ANd Lowry *** was worse or just as bad as ROZIER. I knew bg boy wasnt a good fit. They had to get off Lowry and thats why they got Rozier who was scoring hollow points on a sh*t team,.

Yea the heat org is ran old school a bit it aint for everybody but i aint ever betting on the knicks organization over the heat man im sorry lol. Thats h*t is about to plateau next szn severly for them. They have to make moves and have no picks to do so or have to lose integral guys to do so.

Like stated the Rigged League does the Heat NOOOOOO favors. **** we even loss the coin toss in the 3 way tie and ended up with the 20 pick instead of 18.

NBA sees the heat as stable an dfigure oh they will be ok and does nothing for it...like do yall really believe dallas magically got the #1 pick by chance, or Cleveland to get kyrie. The heat could tank a szn and we would end up with #8 pick in the lottery lol

ive stated THIS would be the year to tank. But Pat Riley doesnt tank so it would have to be injury or something that causes it. They are also likely to make some moves this off szn.

Me as a Heat fan i would come up off of one of Bam or Herro or tank. But thats me as a fan knowing they arent ever gonna tank. The organization just isnt wired that way at all.

I think it’s out of their hands. They weren’t tanking the 2nd half of the year without Jimmy, they really needed to make the playoffs. They’re just bad.

They have some many competitive advantages. They could turn it around quick if they just reset but instead they’re so focused on suping up a Honda civic instead of working for 2 years for a Benz

for a minute there i thought they were.

Naw they had injuries and all type of stuff 2nd half of szn. And still would be losing one possesion games weekly. Pella Larsen was starting games. Jaime Jaquez hurt or regressed...they traded butler for wiggins essentially and then he misses games, jovic gets hurt, kevin love never plays (takes up roster spot) There was so much different rotations...i was getting lost.

Davion Mitchell ended up being a good part of the trade he will be a good back up pg here, and ive always like kyle anderosn in spurts.

But if its any year to tank its this year. You have your own pick. Half of the time the heat dont even have a pick.

My resolution would be to trade one of Bam and Herro for a dude and draft picks.

That’s true. The fact they have a lottery that isn’t live or anything is absolutely BULL****. This league makes billions of dollars and fans sit by and allow them to determine draft order by a magical crystal ball

I’ve been waiting for a decent change for a few years now. There needs to be some major moves this offseason. 1000000% are and have been the better franchise though. Both things can be true and I’m not sure why you’re getting pushback.

The Knicks are the cowboys of the NBA, but are somehow worse. The thought of someone arguing they’re the better franchise is laugh in your face dumb.

Its why they could never surpasss football and college basketball makes them irrelevant for almost a full two months out of the szn

The Heat as is are a middle of the pack east team...that could fall anywhere from 4-8 in seedings.

teams they have better futures than to me:
Hawks
Raptors
Bulls
Hornets
Nets
Wizards
76ers
Ill say the Magic as well at 8. And im leaning even toward the pistons but i liked what they showed this year. The Knicks future falls after next szn.

Its the east it changes from year to year the pacers were the 4th seed and are in the finals. Its turbulence in the east.

Depending on what they do in this off szn i still see them as that middle of the pack. Which is why i agree this should be the tank year if they arent grabbing a star.

James Dolan is still going to send another strongly worded letter to Adam Silver complaining about how the NBA is costing him, & other big market teams, money; yet, whenever they all vote on anything it’s always 29-1 with Dolan being the lone dissent
