OT: Joe Burrow opinion

As long as you get Joe Brady also.

give me Tua been doing his thing for years at a super high level.

Joe burrow was pedestrian last year and is the current flavor of the month.

that said I do enjoy watching that offense. Someone is open on every play.

I’m getting really tired of reading this. Herbert is a better prospect than him and if you take away a those 3 first round WR’s from Tua then he’ll be above average. Guy literally just chucks and ducks with those guys. It’s the same reason they got plastered by Clemson and he was just over 50 % passing today while Burrow surgically picked them to shreds.

Pump da brakezzzz!

I know we all should bow down to these two NFL level SEC teams but...checks stats.....sees neither Bama nor LSU is even top 15 in total D (Canes are #14).

I'm thinking the dolphins are looking at this guy more than Tua
Tuas problem is processing that's a bad trait to have that's what alot of average fans can't see. How a QB processes things are important af it's why I hate picking a Urban Meyer QB cause it's one read. His QBs always bomb

Agreed, as a dolphins fan I still want tua. Tua had to gimp around the whole game and his offensive line gave him no help. Think Tua actually ended up with better stats as well. I would take chase young over burrow.
Lmao he didn’t even come close to having better stats despite playing catch up all game against a bend don’t break defense at that point

Don’t know how popular this is but Joe is probably the best pure QB prospect since Andrew Luck. I’ve never seen a QB shred Saban through the air like that at Bama.

EDIT: from a draft class standpoint if you couldn’t already figure it out.
Imo, Joe > Tua

Hilarious some think Burrow is a product of the system. What system? LSU's?! Good grief, we're talking about a school that stifled its offensive weaponry due to a horrific system that hearkened back to the 1950's on offense.

Burrow is elite and, as a Dolphins fan, I'd be happy we got him.

I didn’t compare. I said since Andrew...last I checked “since” doesn’t mean “same” or “comparable”.
Here’s some names who were better pro prospects ..deshaun Watson, teddy bridgewater, Derek Carr, Winston, Mariota(Eh), Goff, wentz, mahomes, darnold, Murray, Haskins..you put any of those guys in this LSU system with this talent and they light it up in college too..along with a few other names..Burrow is nice, but is he really elevating the talent around him or is the the system elevating the talent around him..along with elevating him. I say the same about Tua and have been for about a year. Both would be better served going somewhere with quality pieces around them. But that top pick you want a Guy who can lift a franchise. I don’t see it with Burrow or tua at the pro level

and neither one of them were as polished in their careers as Joe is at this point. How does it feel to mention a guy who’s making his first start this weekend and wasn’t even considered the best QB in his draft class as a better prospect? Go sit down.

Already tried that with Long over Ryan. Lulz

I wanna see what burrow looks like vs OSU secondary and pass rush

You talking about Haskins i assume. If you think Haskins wouldn’t put up numbers in college with that LSU offense your crazy. Or any of the names I listed tbh..And go check the numbers he put up at OSU with supreme talent at skill spots around him..and look how it translated to the league when that advantage disappeared. That’s my point. You put any of the names I listed at LSU, in that system with that talent and they look like 1st picks..you said hes the best prospect since Luck which is asinine..luck elevated slightly above talent around him in college. Burrow benefits greatly from the elite talent around him..the only can’t miss prospect in this draft is Chase Young. You take value before need everytime when your picking in the top 5..**** talent/value wise I wouldn’t take burrow over juedy either

He's the real deal. I told my friends after the Texas game I thought he'd be the #1 pick. I love the way he's aggressive challenging 1 on 1 coverage downfield. He has the ideal demeanor and he manages the pocket very naturally. A lot of QBs are robotic in their movements and processing and it works when everything is on schedule but those guys tend to flounder when things change post-snap. Burrow is very intuitive and seems to have an answer for everything.

Give him a couple of ballwinners (like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin - I can dream) like he has now, throw in some RPOs and he will be tough to stop at the next level.

To all the people discrediting Burrow and saying it's all about the scheme - please describe to me what about this scheme is so unstoppable and hard to replicate? I'll give you a hint...it starts with a p and ends with an l.
