If you want to be loyal to yourself and make a lot of money probably a good idea not to quit on teammates/organization and get a bad rep. Good way for a talented player to get way less then market value and in some cases shipped out of the league.

Yeahhhhh, pairing him with a young QB that isn't the defacto leader of the team already (like Mahomes is in KC) on a team that was like 30th in offense in a city I'm sure he doesn't find appealing.....sounds like a recipe for success!

Good/smart teams won't touch him so he was bound to end up somewhere bad. Not surprising the list was Raiders, Redskins, Titans and Bills.

And the raiders just paid a wrong side of 30 WR 20 mill a season... instead of getting young and reloading up weapons when their way behind the Chiefs and Chargers they pull this stunt

Here is why Raiders won...got a # 1 wr...gave up only a 3rd and a 5th...the guarantee money is 30 mill which is essentially a 2 year deal....and the steelers got screwed by having to pay dead money salary cap hit of 21 mill.....what!!!!
 
Both teams win...Raiders trade their #1 WR for a 1st round pick. Then send a 3rd and 5th for a better WR(but comes with lots of baggage/DIVA). Steelers get rid of said DIVA but have 21 mil hit on salary cap.....but dont have to pay him anymore money and his salary comes off the books after that.
How long before AB blows up on the field about not getting the ball? Who does he blow up on.....Carr or OC?

As a Ravens fan this season was pretty fun watching the Steelers....

Yeah the caveat in all of this is what seemed mindless @ 1st,....which is his dictation that he gets a new contract or "don't bother coming my way."

A team wasn't going to give up a high pick AND a boatload of money. It was either one or the other,...and the Steelers lose in that case, which is just fine with AB @ this point.

His silly antics actually called the shots here and in all fairness, he's played well enough to earn such a move, even while still under contract.

I'm not happy about the return or the precedent it sets. Then again, it was probably karma for celebrating a little toooo hard when I thought we actually managed to ship him to Buffalo.
