OT Getting new puppy and need name

It's gonna be a red nose pit. Most likely a male. Was thinking Cane but am open to other creative names. Go...

Just an FYI- APBTs are not distinguished by nose color. They are distinguished by coat color. No such thing as a "red nose" or "blue nose". Yours may be a red fawn since it has a red nose. Most costs are red, red fawn, fawn, brindle, black. I've had APBTs in my family for over 60 years. Great dogs.

Mine has a red nose and red coat.

Thanks for all the responses. Turns out according to my wife we are now getting 2 as she paid for a second one last night. I'm naming the first 1 Cane! As for the second I don't know.

If pit bulls are killing dumb poor people at a disproportionate rate to other breeds, then breed more pit bulls.

It's actually the dumbasses that raise them and tie them up, feed them gun powder, beat them, and fight them. Then everyone wonders why they bite. I've had them in the past and they wouldn't hurt a fly.

^^^this I love all dogs. Their owners?...not so much.

Lol at callmetrip...you are soft and weak minded like the majority of this once great nation we call the United States. I would be willing to bet that almost every one of those attacks you felt you needed to post from your mother's basement came from Pit Bulls that were beaten, chained and starved, and raised to be aggressive. I have a Pit Bull/Doberman mix that loves other people and other dogs and am sick and tired of people judging me or my dog because of his breed. ****, if I did have children I would be more concerned about a German Shepherd biting them than a Pit Bull.

Killer? Or name it after one of its past victims.

If you guys don't know the blood lines you should look for a different breed. To many people get a APBT and are clueless which give the dog a bad name.

I've had numerous. Certified and did weight pulling shows. Well tried to anyways. Mine never could get comfortable and the sleds scared him more than anything. Appreciate your concern though. And yes if someone doesn't know about breeds and how to care for dogs they definitely shouldn't get one.
