OT Gary Patterson

This is the type of **** that leads to a dramatic backlash against "cancel culture"...

People are very sympathetic and hear you when there are legitimate wrongs going on - see Iowa.

But this kind of **** by a player that can't get playing time because he's not very good is low class and ineffective.

After this incident I don't think Narduzzi is giving him the interview.

Sounds like a kid that's a bit sour for not getting any playing time. Transfer, or get better; don't try to make the coach look bad over some **** he called you out for doing in meetings. The **** world is getting soft and it probably will never get better.

I wasn't there obviously, don't know if this is true, but in my most honest opinion this kid sounds soft AF.

Not excusing Patterson for saying the N word, that's never okay & if he did say that even in that context whatever punishment comes from that he'll deserve, he should know better...

But this kid just comes off like a ***** I'm sorry & I say that as a Black man that is in full support of players having the freedom & courage to speak up about whatever issues they've been going through.

Coaches being verbally or physically abusive are POS who deserve to get fired, I don't think that applies to Patterson in this situation but in general as a Coach you have to treat your players with respect & not like livestock. I hate coaches who have an ego trip & don't appreciate the sacrifice these players make laying their bodies on the line for them. Fuente for instance is an example of a POS coach. I just don't however think Patterson fits into that category just based on this incident if true.

I agree as a black man gary patterson should not be saying that word. But if he tells player hey stop using the n word (without saying it) in meetings I have no problem with it. Neither player or coach should be saying it. Go talk to someone who grew up in that era and was called that word. Its nothing to play about
