I see this mistake being made over and over again on this site. The kids we are recruiting today are not Millenials They are Gen Z kids aka "Zoomers".

These are the kids that need to be coddled, stroked, & babied. The "Respect My Decision" generation.
I don’t think your chart is right. Everything I’ve ever seen breaks the Boomer/Gen X line at 1964/1965.

I went from living with a last year of Baby Boom to marrying a first year Millennial.

I've seen a bunch of different charts and they don't deviate much from one another. Point was and still is that the kids we recruit today aren't millennials.

Old heads envy millennials so bad. They wish they grew up with the internet. U don’t see millennials hating on Gen Z.

and generations are really defined by decades. So 90’s babies are millennials. I don’t consider 80’s babies millennials at all. ‘00s babies are Gen Z.

Yeah I’m an ADHD self-absorbed Gen Xer so I’m more focused on my shît and we definitely start in 1965. I’m 1966. My latest wife is 1981.

That said, yeah, the last 3 years have been Gen Z. This group of Z is similar to late Millennials just like early Gen X and late Boomers are similar, IMO. My kids are in middle and high school and they are definitely more like what I see as the Gen Z Description.

Labeling millennials “soft” is old heads go-to. It’s actually hilarious.

“back in my day we wore leather helmets. There was no such thing as CTE. We were real men. Kids now days have too much padding in their helmet.”

Honestly, there’s good and bad in everything. I have a Millennial working closely for me right now. He’s an ex Marine and college grad 30 year old and he’s awesome. I had another Millennial like that too who was great. I’ve also had the stereotypical Millennials and they’re annoying as fûck. And there are a lot of them.

I’m not jealous of them because they grew up with the internet. lol. These 2 generations think very differently and we don’t have patience for some of it nor is the stereotypical Gen Xer interested in changing to accommodate the stereotypical Millennial mindset.

I think the descriptions We’ve seen of each generation, including the negatives, are somewhat reasonable. My early Gen X generation is the material world Madonna group. I don’t like that but a lot of it is true too. Is what it is.

As a whole, people have gotten softer since WW2. Not having to fight for your life will do that. That doesn't mean all, but enough.

It's also fun to make fun of kids when you start getting older because you see these things more and the contrast becomes more clear.
