The “lol no” was a typo that was meant for another post

You shouldn’t be quoting any poll that says 2 million Jews. That’s just flat out wrong. That’s not a legitimate poll. It’s denier propaganda. Although, I don’t get why saying 2 million would somehow lessen the horror of it. But it’s been well-established that the number is around 6 million.

That was the point of the poll. It was about lack of awareness of history in people

It was also specifically referring to Auschwitz in part so that had more to do with the 2 million than overall number of deaths

Thanks for the clarification. I certainly do believe 2 million could’ve died at Auschwitz, I don’t personally know the break up between the different death camps. I just misunderstood the post. There are still people out there that are holocaust deniers. That was kind of my point but I just misunderstood what was written

OCCC, my friend, I knew the good place that each of you was coming from when i read it. I dont know the break down by camp but Auschwitz was the biggest and literally half of the killings were in Poland so 2 million there wouldnt shock me either. There were like another 3 million Catholics, gypsies, homosexuals, handicapped people... on top of the 6 million.

Hard to believe what some people can do to others.

I know what you mean, but sadly, for me, it’s not hard to believe.

Nothing matches the holocaust in scope, as well as the genocidal intent (in essence the attempt to eliminate an entire group, millions and millions, of people) and sheer volume of murders. It was literally industrialized state sponsored murder of millions.

Yet there are numerous other examples of other genocidal systematic mass murders in the 20th century alone, albeit not reaching the scope of the holocaust.

The Turks campaign against the Armenians at the turn of the century, the systematic brutality and murder of millions of Chinese (and other Asian races, estimates of millions murdered) by Japanese invaders during WWII, Stalin’s post war murder of millions, Pol Pots mass murder of millions of Cambodians in the 70’s, and later the mass murder of close to a million Tutsis by the Hutus in Rwanda.

I’m sure I’ve missed a few in the last century. That’s just in the 20th century.

So, yea, Homo Sapiens are a fairly bloodthirsty species.

Posters continue to be enamored by the U brand. They think it is 1983-2002. They refuse to realize that we have become an after thought. 4 failed coaches in last 15 years. We’ve become at best a middle of the road coastal team in the acc. Recruiting has fallen off to dismal levels. Hurts and any other top players not interested in attending dumpster fire of a program.

Not just that... these dudes are Gods in Norman. To say that the safety of these chicks would not have been gaurunteed if they chose to stick around(which they didn’t) is an understatement. Every game is a sellout. Every student, business owner, and John Doe worships the athletic program. People can name the President of the University, the Mayor, the local government, the Governor and the coaching staff. Jalen Hurts is a nobody in Miami; best case scenario is Greg Cote humiliates him like we did Kaaya, Jacory, Morris, or Wright. Dudes in Norman are out there knocking out racists in a whataburger and getting applauded(Mixon).
