Marlins are delaying their trip back home due to a possible COVID outbreak within the locker room. We feared this might happen but not as early as it happened supposedly to the marlins.

The protocol calls for 2 back to back 24 hours negative tests for activation, and the details here seem rather this development is largely precautionary. Hence the (travel) delay. Only ONE new Marlin was positive, and it may (hopefully) be only that.

Just announced 4 has tested positive. Jose Urena, Jorge Alfaro, Garret Cooper, Harold Ramirez. The reds have a couple sick as well.

This will be a good test case for how teams are going to handle this situation. Starter got scratched a few hours before game time but the team still played and won.

Interesting to see what happens going forward.

Yea, if they can get through this and limit it then my Hope skyrockets.

Cancelled their game. Things would be much more optimistic if they would test players and remove the positive while continuing to play

Heck, they can just fly them back to Miami in one of thos planes they used to fly all the sick people back to South America who were stuck in Port Everglades on those Carnival owned Holland cruise liners; the Rotterdam and Zaandam.
