OT: Cane Fan scamming people out of money

Apparently the whole story is something along the lines of a prominent fan/tailgater lost his job and was asking anyone and everyone for loans running his tab up to like 15k.....and when people try and collect he is nowhere to be found.

My twatter fluency isn't that good though so I might be missing something.

Maybe Broke can decipher it.

Yayo gives out money to bozos on twitter. We sure Cam Underwood wasn't behind this?

Nah, Cam is good people...Yayo needs education on how the real world works...I know she means well, but ****, got to be smarter than that. Apparently, she wasn't the only one scammed though so, she isn't the only one falling for amateur fraud schemes.

Again, that's what unemployment benefits are for...to help "productive and responsible" citizens bridge the financial gap between jobs due to unforeseen circumstances, like being laid off.

She has no clue how anything works. She's from another planet.

Is there some legal reason people always play this name game? Like tell a story but be coy with the person's name. If somebody borrowed money from me and wasn't going to pay it back and had done the same to others you can believe I'd put his name all over the place and say exactly what he'd done.

In all fairness she does walk around with a ****** between her legs so that probably plays a role in her decision making.

I'm not a lawyer, I know we have several on here, but I would assume it has to do with civil litigation and being hit with a defamation suit if indeed the info claimed against someone turns out to be bogus

How could you give him money with a name/handle like that.

This whole situation is really telling how many morons exist in the world and how naive people really are. I may be an *******, but given how stingy and selfish I'm with my money, I almost guarantee myself that I won't be the product of some type of twitter scam. Wouldn't be surprised if half the dopes from this situation have accepted deals from Nigerian princes in the past.

OT: @brock, I must say, I thought your response bar would be solid red with a hint of green, but ****, I stand corrected

yet for some reason she is protecting the guys identity because he is trying to pay people back. first of all anyone that would give money to a stranger should never expect to get it back. second of all she needs to reveal the identity or not be involved at all. bottom line.
