OT: Art Briles to be fired by Baylor Administration

Still love Briles's response to Texas when asked to interview for their head coach position. He told them his resume is public knowledge and he will not interview. If they want him, they have to start by offering him.

With all of A&M problems and Briles gone from Baylor seems like Texas will reclaim the state in no time. Only TCU to compete with now

Does he coach again after covering all the **** up? I could honestly see him at Texas if Strong ***** the bed again.

I'm pretty stunned Baylor's firing him too. However he deserves it. I wonder if UT would have hired Briles if we had been retarded enough to hire Strong as our new head coach.

I think he deserved it as well, still shocked with the amount of success he was having.

Not with the allegations surrounding him.
He will never coach at a major P5 again.
Coker and Golden have a better shot at landing the Texas gig at this point.
 
Someone on Russillo & Kanell just made an interesting football related point. Said Briles was always immensely frustrated between the discrepancy between his offense and defense so he'd take anyone, no matter the red flags, to help the D. It obviously came back to bite him with Oakman, the rapist from Boise, etc. Oh well, good riddance. Good luck to his son thinking he can stay on as OC there too. That program is done.

There may be much more to this than the rapist winston situation, but the intentional neglect of the federal law and duty to the student body is exactly the same.

The reality is that Baylor will likely get pummeled even worse since F$U basically skates.
